Sorry so late responding, I don't check here very often. I believe you hav to show that you had MS symptoms within 7yrs of getting out, since it can take such a long time to get diagnosed. I've also been tested extensively for Lyme Disease, blood test as well as Western Blot test. My DR and I were really hoping it was the culprit, to no avail, not to mention we've ruled out every other disease.

I am a veteran as well. I was just diagnosed Nov 09, after about 7 years of issues. I am still waiting to hear from the VA about adding this to my disability. I wonder if all the shots have anything to do with this ???

There are certain diseases the VA deems as automatically service connected, MS being one of them. There are some who theorize all of the shots and immunizations you take can trigger MS, but no one knows for sure. There is a 7 year window after you leave the service, but, don't quote me on this part,...
