Actually either an Ipod or Iphone will work. You just buy the app.

If you have an IPOD you can do translation of phrases on it. If no Ipod go to a library and get a phrase book or have them order you one.

If you are going to Poland I can tell you that you will go back to the hotel. You will have to get yourself there by cab. You should stay until the procedure is done. Then you have a free night at the hotel.
