Re: Upright MRI scanners--who's got them and using them to .

Thanks for the replies. Perhaps I should consider taking the info to a chiro close to home.

I'm just so tired of having to educate those in the medical profession who don't make an effort to keep up with the latest research.

No rest for the wicked I suppose. ;-)

Upright MRI scanners--who's got them and using them to ...

... look at blood and csf flow in and out of the cranial vault? Dr. Rosa in New York is mentioned often as he is involved in a specific study. I wish I could see Dr. Rosa simply as patient (not in the study), but travel time and expense prevent it from my home base. Does anyone know of any others on...

Re: DrSclafani answers some questions

Dr. Sclafani, Have you encountered any CCSVI cases that turned out to be caused by Superior Vena Cava syndrome (not problems with IJV)? I'm wondering if SVCS is a condition that must be found through venography/IVUS or if there is a non-invasive test (like an MRI?) that would show it instead of a ve...

Re: Sticky blood -- can I see the back of your eyes?

Hi Dr. Diana- I'm trying to get fundus pics for you from eye doc. Meanwhile, regarding your comment about the MTHFR gene, It caught my eye because just this week I learned I have a single copy C677T mutation, but NO A1298C mutation. I was left with the impression from the the doc's office that this ...

Re: barometric pressure may be doing a lot more than we thou

Low barometric pressure increases my feelings of lightheadedness and muscle fatigue three-fold. I've learned it's useless to even try and workout during those days/times. Glad (and sorry) to see there's a scientificstudy showing I'm not an anomoly.

Protozoa - contributing factor to CCSVI and other diseases?

This entire article absolutely blows my mind. So much "fits" with my own experiences. I'm so "wowed" by it I think I'll read it again after I mentally digest it a bit.

I've just renewed my low-fat diet plan! :-D

Re: DrSclafani answers some questions

Feel better soon, Dr. S. Sorry to hear of your vascular malformation! I battle chronically low ferritin stores, take 600% of my daily iron requirement in pill form just to keep my stores from falling and am followed by a hematologist so I will pass on the advice she gave me early on about iron absor...

Re: Weird kind of Numbness

Interesting, thanks. I do understand your frustration, I've got a ton of symptoms and no diagnosis myself. This has been going on a long time for me.

I hope your doctor is able to find something so you will know what it is you're dealing with. It's hard to make a plan if you don't.
Hang in there!
