Teriflunomide update...

Hello! I just wanted to give an update. I had elected to stay on in the continuation study after my study was unblinded in 2001. I have been on 7mg of teriflunomide daily since then. I was on the placebo previous to that, and have signed the papers a few times since to keep going... http://clinicalt...

Just an update...

Well...it's been 7 or 8 years on teriflunomide now...been too long, can't remember :) All is well. I believe that I will continue on for another 2 years or so. If the drug is approved, I will continue it. Over all I have been doing well. Seem to be really bothered by fatigue lately...but hey, that's...

teriflunomide

Hi Hazel:

Is it a blind study...or do you know if you will be on the drug? I have been on teriflunomide for quite a few years now...currently in the continuation of the phase II trial.

All the best!

Let me know how it goes for you. I have had a very good experience on this drug! Where are you located? I am in Southern Ontario, and visit the MS clinic at the LHSC.

I got that email too. Not impressed. I really don't enjoy unsolicited email.

participating in a study

I manged to get involved because the MS clinic that I go to for treatment was involved in the study. Try getting in touch with your local MS clinic, maybe they are involved in this study as well.

I hope this helps, Carol

teriflunomide--one more thing!

I forgot this in my original post.

I was told that there seems to be some signs that the drug is reducing the lesion load as shown on the MRIs. They don't, as yet, know how this translates into the affect it has on one's symptoms or disability.

I'll keep you posted!
