Information on US Medical Insurance.

I am currently working on building a case that the Canadian Provinces - specifically mine - are contravening the Health Act that we have in Canada. The Provinces are responsible for administering the Act which basically states that all Canadians must be given proper treatment for their health issues...

All good news: just thought I'd add that my wife had foot drop, the right foot just didn't want to come up. I noticed about 5 weeks after the procedure that she was no longer dragging the foot, and right now she walks almost normally - still a little shakey with the balance and still uses the securi...

I am stunned by the lack of comments in response to Dr Embrey's letter, thought sure it would have attracted a lot of skepticism - can only therefore think that the latter is well written and factual

Thank's Dr Embrey.

To a large extent the "autoimmune" element in M.S. is also a theory, it has never been proven and to date it cannot be cured, yet we, society, are spending billions of dollars on this "theory". To my simple mind, it seems that Zamboni's "theory" (which is supported by t...

We have a responsibility to people with MS to discover things that ultimately will lead to cures for them

It would be interesting to know where in Mexico is charging this sort of amount for the treatment, and what exactly they are supplying for this sort of money. My wife went to Cabo San Lucas where the procedure including Doppler and MRI, copies of U/S , MRI and DVD of the veins opening and flowing co...

1eye are you a philosopher in real life ? Yes we in the "western world", not just Canada and the U.S., are nations of "want", not need but want, and what we want we pretend to ourselves we need so we go buy it and mostly we do that via credit - those little plastic cards are the ...

I'm a "CCSVIHusband" too, so like you I believe in the treatment. But I have to hand it to Lyon - that top ten is just too funny - it can be used on anyone, just change the name - did you make that up yourself ?? That's pretty good for an MS'er !!

Reasonably good report, although not 100% accurate. Main problem in my very humble opinion - the title was "Multiple Choice", but there were no "choice" options given, and as every one on this site knows, once you're past that R+R stage, well there really ain't No Choices. The pe...

Should we or Shouldn't we, that is the question .

The tragic death of a young Canadian in Costa Rica has raised lots of questions here and on other sites. I just wanted to put in my 2 cents worth on the question of being treated or not. Let me say I do not have anywhere near the expertise in physiology or biology that many Members on TiMS have, I d...
