thanks, I agree.
You can search literature for info. This thread was more about the activism related to CCSVI and the current situation.
There is no time to lose and no method of accomplishing a goal should be discounted.
I am only saying group together and picket for coverage. No problem with that.

why wait? Picket now.
Yes, it is cold outside. I am up in NY from Florida fo a visit with friends who have MS and my family (who doesn't). Nothing is being done here and there are countless medical schools, universities and teaching hospitals. The MDs who collaborated on a study with Dr. Haacke and others do not respond....

Why are they so obnoxious at NYU that they think they are above the rest and don't have to bother replying to anyone? I still say picket them and then they will have to answer. As for the effects of a 7 Tesla MRI, I am sure it has effects, everything does, but it is a risk vs. benefit decision. I th...

I am a nurse and don't understand some of this. I was told once you have brain lesions they don't go away but we are seeing otherwise. My lesions are stable but who knows when they started or why. My neuro thought they might be from the EBV. He also said that people with migraine syndrome have brain...

ANYONE FEEL LIKE PICKETING/DEMONSTRATING TO GET ATTENTION?
Anyone had enough yet? I don't have MS (family and friends do) but I am sick of the lack of response in this country and the medical community. Suggestion: picket-that will get instant media attention. Pick 10 cities across the US and come out in droves and stop traffic. Start with NY, at NYU home t...

Dr. Herbert
Hi!! Wow, interesting info! I found out that he is a paid consultant for Teva pharm-would explain a lot. Someone else also said that he played down LDN. It sounds like he has his own agenda and we are not happy about it. How exactly is your daughter involved in his studies? Can she get thru to him a...

MRA/V and the EBV other theories of MS
thanks, this is what the ENT MD who wrote the Rx told me-he said the MRA will pick up veins also and if they suspect a problem then they can focus in on more tests. Sono pick up both. An aside to this topic I have to reply to the above thread on the EBV connection. In 2004 they thought I had MS-I ha...

thanks, I am trying to find out the exact difference between an MRA and MRV. While I don't have MS (they thought I did and my family and friends do so I am their advocate and source of info) an occlusion in either my carotid or jugulars can cause the symptoms I am having (sharp radiating pain in to ...

As long as we have an MD on board I have another question: what is the difference between an MRA and MRV? I don't have MS (Family and friends do) but originally they thought I did as I have brain lesions (non-MS, neg LP, but + EBV) and now they think I have an occlusion in a blood vessel in my neck ...

ok, now I understand your point. I will chew off anyone's ear that will listen. Dr. Grossman out of NYU is a neuroradiologist. I got my ENT to write an Rx for me for an MRA. I don't turn anyone down. I don't have MS (friends and family do) just non MS lesions and possible venous occlusion-similar to...

They worked with HAACKE on the research as well as the researchers from SUNY Buffalo. It is radiologists who perform all MRIs regardless of who ordered them. It is radiologists who make anecdotal observations and can pull a vast amount of data together and then refer it back to neuro, vascular, MDs,...

Hi Cheerleader, My only gripe-and it is a big one-is that the NYU MDs that did this research have state of the art equipment. My friend's neuro is Dr. Herbert and he didn't even bother to tell him about the screening. What we all are forgetting is long before this research is published it is already...

these research papers are definitely related to CCSVI-how can you say they are not? the premise is that the restricted blood flow is connected to the increased iron deposits. They found that using a 4 Tesla machine they picked up more info. Can you imagine if they had used the 7 Tesla? The connectio...
