Thanks for the replies!!! I've got to have an MRI scan first to show progression before I qualify for Ty and then decide if I want it. I'm still kind of thinking about sticking it out on Rebif or even trying Copaxone and trying to reduce my stress first and then I still have Ty there if it doesn't w...

24 months mark

Hey guys, Well I have had 5 relapses in the past 11 months and I saw my neuro today and he wants me to consider Tysabri. He doesn't feel my current med (Rebif) will be strong enough and my MS is progressing to quickly. I had a stressful year in 2009 and I think that stress massively affected my rela...

I have had my iron levels checked and they were slightly on the low side. One of my MS diet friends has found the same thing. Am I right in thinking that that doesn't matter with this theory and the iron you do have in your body tends to chelate in the brain still? Can somebody explain this to me in...

Hi Andrew

I have read through your threads and am wanting to try IBT. I have a wooden bed frame so wouldn't be able to put the blocks under the base. How would I go about doing it on my bed?

What meds do you have to have now and what follow up consultations or treatments do you need? Will they be able to monitor you in the UK? As you've just had the ballooning procedure, theres the risk I guess that the veins could narrow again, presumably if your MS remains stable now and then starts t...

Hi Mutley,

New to the This is MS forum, your thread made me want to post. Congratulations on going out to Poland for the treatment. I'm just wondering what you actually had to pay for? Obviously your flights and accomodation etc. but did you have to pay for any of the treatment at all?
