Urgent need to contact a Copaxone user in Honolulu.

We're in Honolulu until 3/22/11, and out of Copaxone. Our mail-order pharmacy advised today that the soonest we'll receive it is on Tuesday, 3/15/11. Need to find someone here who can spare four doses until we receive our package. If you are that someone or know someone else who someone who might be...

Markus' contact information

I just posted in the thread on the risks of stenting, as my wife was ballooned in August and we are now considering azygous stenting during a second procedure. I would love to know how he is doing this far out from his azygous stenting, as well as how others who've had that done are doing, too. Than...

Azygos stenting on follow-up procedure

My DW, SPMS since 1992, had her first angioplasty done on August 18th in Orange County, California. Immediately post-procedure, she reported overall reduction of spacticity throughout her body, and demonstrated this by elongating her legs to full extension and flattening out her knees, something she...

Re: Dr. Arata

[I think we are just going to get Taxi's. Don't want the added worry's of getting lost :0)} Taxi's in Orange County may be pretty expensive, becuase of the distances you will be traveling. If you are not renting a car, I'd try one of the 'share-a-ride" companies like Super Shuttle unless you're...

Re: Liberation Treatment in CA

[quote="val57gal"]I had my treatment in California. I don't know anything about IRB approval, but my dr said clearing blocked veins is standard IR treatment, so he had no qualms about doing it. I had to pay for my MRV, but since it showed a blocked vein we could get insurance authorization...

Condolences

I wish to express my condolences to Holly's family, too. I read all of her posts and wish I had gotten to know her personally.

My wife and I have our first IR consult tomorrow and even though I think I've done all I can to be prepared, my anxiety level is WAY too high.

NY Times Article on Dr. Sclafani's procedure

The link to the article on the procedure that helped to save a police officer's like did not work for me this morning. Can anyone tell me why? I would like to forward it to someone who may be able to help with funding.

Re: RESEARCH IDEA

Over the past couple of months, a number of patients have sent me CDs containing MRvenograms, ultrasounds and venograms, along with interpretations...I have viewed many with dismay...would people be willing to participate in this trial. Absolutely. We have sent CDs of my wife's MR study and a copy ...

Bathtubs

I'm beginning to look into various types of bathtubs to make TWSTRML (The Woman Sent To Run My Life)'s life easier. She has SPMS and getting in and out of the tub are a major ordeal She is still ambulatory so I am thinking of one of the walk-in types. I would love to know if anyone has any experien...

A Doctor's Questions re: CCSVI

The neuro my wife and I saw on the 23d was dismissive of the theory re CCSVI. I suppose I should not be surprised, but I can't help but feel disappointed. He was, however, not averse to having an ultrasound done of her neck veins. His comment was that there will likely be some atherosclerotic stenos...

A doctor's questions re: CCSVI

I'm a newbie here, but have been thoroughly obsessed with reading about CCSVI since a friend sent me the link to the W5 broadcast a few weeks ago. My wife, Jacqui, whose RRMS seemed to morph into SPMS about 17 years ago (first anecdotal symptoms were 41 yrs ago) has a new pt appt with a neuro tomorr...
