Yeah, I did notice that Twisted! Crazy, huh. Did you also notice that for as long as ms has been around, it is only in recent years that I have heard more about it. My cousin has had it for 30 years and when she was dxed, noone knew what it was in my family. I think that is has something to do with ...

Linda, I have had all of those symptoms and I have been dxed for 4 years with ms. Although I have more lesions than you. My first spinal was negative and then they did one when I was having an exacerbation, at the begining of one, and it was positive. My doc said that you have to get the spinal at j...

I feel the same way. It is very scarry. It seemed to scare me more when I was dxed 4 years ago then it does now. Now it's just annoying! Heh, the bright side is that Bromley is right, once it's that bad, you won't remember it!

NHE,
I am on Betaseron now, but I was on Avonex and Copazone too. I believe that I read in the Avonex inserts, that the reason there isn't a site reaction IS because it goes into the muscle and isn't sub-q. The further away from the skin and so on...... Just thought I'd add that.

Iheard that also, about the 6 years, and I have heard of people that have ms living well into their 80's. I am one of those that think that when it's your time to go, then you go. I just hope I don't suffer a whole lot before then. I also agree with Bromley, a coping forum would be great!

DeeDee, I have been dxed for 4 years now and in that time I have also had the thought that maybe we were or are being exsposed to chemicals that could be a factor in us having ms, but it would have to be very common, and if chemicals in combination with genes and virus and environment, that would be...

I'm in too. I think it's a grat idea and agree that the white is same old same old, so black is great. Anything but white like all the others  . I just wanted to say also that I've been here off and on for a year (give or take) and I love this sight and will help out when I can.

I agree with Treez, it gotta be really effective, but I'd also prefer oral to shots. I don't think that I'll ever get use to the shots and I've been doing this for 4 years.

Betaseron

Dee Dee, I'm also on Betaseron and have been on for two years (except for a 2 month period off stubbornness, which I am paying for). I am one of those people who get the flu like symptoms, but the tylenol really does work. I only feel bad if I take it too early. I have to take it right before bed tho...

Bruising

Heh, I get alot of bruising too! I got less with the Avonex, but was worse with the Copaxone. My Neuro told me it is because Avonex is intermuscular and Beta is subQ. Being closer to the seface and all. Also she thinks that I jump when I get the shot and that could be part of it. I have been on this...
