It would be nice to not have a constant black haze over the vision in my left eye. Maybe this is related.

This isn't entirely related but I know if I tilt my head back and then tilt it back forward to look straight I get hit by a wave of nausea and vertigo. I've wondered for a while if it's related to CCSVI or if it's just some random other MS crap that I've picked up along the way.

There does seem to be a definite negative slant to it but I wouldn't say they did anything wrong. It is concerning that the reporter was so easily diagnosed as having CCSVI. It makes you wonder how many healthy people have it. It would be nice to get a blinded trial done by someone who knows what th...

I know it's not the exact same thing but it reminds of how if I lean my head back and then bring my head back to looking straight I get vertigo and feel sick for ~30 second.

Yeah, Biogen has nothing to do with the posted article. That is odd that Dr. Sinan would tell a patient that. I don't think it minimizes the effectiveness of what he does but it also strikes me as something he should go ahead and remedy.

This sets a new standard for scientific proof: from now on all studies, in order to achieve sufficient scientific credibility, must be triple blinded, especially if they are mouse studies. The new milestone of three-mouse-blinding will only be acceptable if the researchers have docked the murine ta...

I'm probably alone in this but I say wait. There's a much higher chance of good than bad for you if you go through with it but if you're not in a position to handle potential badness then it feels to me like it makes more sense to wait and let the procedure be further perfected. edit: Just to clarif...

Finding 0% pretty much says to me either a whole bunch of doctors are lying or they're doing it wrong. Based on all the pictures posted by doctors on this board of valid stenoses I'm inclined to say that these researchers did it wrong.

I think the majority of us are more in the know of what's going on with CCSVI than that author (ex: him using Doepp's study as proof against CCSVI when Zamboni put out a response to that study showing that it indeed proves CCSVI). I have no doubt there are politics on both sides of this issue but ar...

I'm pretty sure Malden posted something inappropriate, had it deleted, then reposted nearly the exact same thing. It was inappropriate the first time, it was blatantly rule-defying the second time. Shame on anyone who tries to defend him.

It is crazy how much we still have to learn about the human body. Hopefully all of this research helps us get a better understanding of how all of this stuff works together.

Isn't Dr. Hubbard based in San Diego or am I misremembering? That atleast seems like a good place to get followup care if needed. It is great to read a positive story like this though. I wish you and your wife the best.
