Rebound and Gilenya
What do you think? Are these high-tech drugs designed to be impossible to stop taking? Do they make the disease worse?

Re: Gilenya and LDN
Thanks for your message. Yours was the only reply to my question!
I'd like to take LDN because of the positives I read and hear. I take Gilenya out of fear. Aggressive MS, I'm told and can see on MRI. Consultant commented you can take both, that LDN is homeopathy.

Gilenya and LDN
Hi, to the forum:
Has anyone been thinking of taking both Gilenya and LDN?
Does anyone know if there are contraindications?
What a dilemma*
I would love to talk about it
Regards everyone.

Re: Humble reminder
... put me back on a pulse steroid for a couple of days. Are there any specific restrictions with this and steroids? They are from my understanding both immune system suppressants. Please confirm this information for yourself: I think there was a fatality by Herpes infection when a person taking th...

Blossom, thank you for that wonderful reply. Thank you! Before I read your reply, though, I have edited my post down to nearly nothing because I felt big fear! Sorry. I will replace the bits that you refer to. Yes, I had a head and neck trauma at 18 when I crashed my bike and broke my face twice. An...

CCSVI & re-stenosis: are these symptoms of trauma?
Someone suggested that I should post this here.............. I've been reading up lately on how trauma causes narrowed veins and is strongly associated with MS and other neuro. conditions. Trauma, whether a once-off catastrophic event or chronic and accumulated, causes changes to biological process....

Re: Novartis Gilenya MS Pill to Cost $48,000 a Year
“Gilenya pricing is based on the value it will deliver patients, the scientific innovation it represents and our investment in studies to support the product,” Althoff said. I wonder if they'd be willing to agree to a complete money back guarantee at the first sign of continued progression......

I am 34 years old I am female. I started taking LDN about one month ago. Two nights ago, I drank almost half a bottle of red wine (13.5%). I felt awful. In the digestive sense and mentally. I suppose I drank at the same time of night that I took the tablet (3MG). I am reminded to let the body and mind get used of a new drug to th...

Uncomfortable silence
I had a dream or else I'm losing my mind or maybe it really happened. I realised lately that I never saw my neurologist in the absence of the MS nurse. I was eager to talk to him about CCSVI and did - but again in the company of this nurse. After we had done so, by coincidence when the nurse was tak...

It is great to read your posts on this. It helps in thinking about these things! Does anyone know how much MS costs the country each year? Isn't it bizarre that you have (in Ireland and the UK) this drop feed of parts of the procedure. A doppler is not worth much without the venogram. We all know th...

The Essential Health Clinic in Glasgow is just offering Doppler scanning. This business that they have currently underway at 450 GBP does not include the venogram, which I understand is pretty crucial as it has been the difference for some people between a negative result and a positive one. I admit...

CCSVI Scanning in Glasgow: Will they use the right protocol?
Hi, I know that people who did scans twice - say the first in the UK, where the result was negative, then the second in Poland where it was positive. Will the Essential Health Clinic in Glasgow be using the right protocol, the one that works for Zamboni, and Simka and the other doctors? Does anyone ...

I was diagnosed in April 2005, declined Rebif, and took part in a phase III clinical trial from July 07. I'm now struggling to decide what to do. to continue the trial drug, to take LDN or to pursue CCSVI. I suppose it comes down to deciding what you believe. I like my neurologist. I respect him as ...
