Melbouren Meeting

Brainteaser,

I would have prefered if Dr Zamboni was allocated more time to respond to questions from the audience.

Restenosis

Dear Dr Sclafani, A medical doctor who takes an arms-length interest in CCSVI suggested to me that restenosis may be occurring because of the swelling of the veins as a result of infection by the bacterium Chlamydia pneumoniae. He suggested that a course of antibiotics lasting one year may help to e...

Azygous Vein

Dear Dr Sclafani, My very sincere thanks for starting a network of clinics for CCSVI treatment. I have a question with no one who can provide an answer. I hope you can help me. I underwent ballon angioplasty for bilateral jugular stenosis with no improvements to symptoms. At that time, I was told th...

Restenosis

Dear Dr Scaflani, I do hope you had an interesting holiday in China. Transcranial Doppler and Venogram

In other words, will the venogram pick up any stenosis from top to bottom of the jugualr veins? Sorry for my ignorance...

Baloon Angioplasty

Dear Dr Scaflani, Of the patients you have treated for CCSVI, did you have any who showed improvements only after several weeks? I underwent the procedure about three weeks ago but have not experienced any improvements to the symptoms. It is possible I have restenosed. I have scheduled a follow-up d...

CCSVI

Hi Diego,

I understand your frustration. I think there are many facets to CCSVI. While MS patients do not have the luxury of time on their side, we can only canvass for support and understanding of our plight.

Please do not give up hope.

Kind Regards
