I contacted Dr Spagnola. All 3 veins 100% occluded. He asked for my reports which were sent and he never responded. I have sent him follow up emails, still no response. Hi Dania, from the USA you can call him at 011390392810575. Possibly have somebody that speaks Italian with you. I know he is very...

You should consider seeing Dr. Sal Spagnolo from Monza, Italy. He operate open sky and 2 days ago operated on a lady with bilateral occlusion of 90% of the IJV. He replaced them with the saffenous vein taken from the leg and apparently the patient is doing very well already. below is the original ne...

I sometimes find the left renal vein catheterization very difficult. the vein has a very wide mouth and the vector of pushing the catheter makes it difficult to keep the catheter into the vein I have not spent a lot of time getting into the vessel and have been too quick to stop. I cannot agree wit...

Dr. Siskin used the fact that iliac disease was not found in MS patients to any higher degree than the the incidence in the regular population as justification for not interrogating the iliac. (see ccsvi.org video for his discussion of this) I imagine the same argument might be applied for whether ...

Re: Scientific study that vascular insufficiency not inolved
In reality the study was done to determine if people with MS have an higher chance to develop cardiovascular disease which is purely an arterial disease. So the study shows that people with MS do not have an higher predisposition to cardiovascular disease than the general population. This has nothi...

Re: Scientific study that vascular insufficiency not inolved
Here is a study worth mulling over. Not vey positive. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/21544565 This study is not worth mulling over at all. The title is misleading since vascular means blood vessel; both arteries and vein. In reality the study was done to determine if people with MS have an high...

nunzio, lets hope this improves things. please let me know. the case itself is humbling for me. i agree with the use of self expanding stent. The rigid nature of the balloon expandible stent would have been problematic in an areas with bony compression and motion. Thanks Sal for your kind words. Th...

This case is similar to the one presented by DrCumming on top of page 5: Patient is a 62 y/o male with PPMS. Venogram done in the beginning of December showed an hyopoplastic RIJV and a narrowing at the base of the LIJV which was dilated with a 14 mm balloon. Pt reported immediate improvement that ...

OK. So which veins are responsible for draining the ears? It doesn't matter; it is similar to somebody with foot drop that wants to know what vein drains the foot. ? WeWillBeatMS Cece already clarified my answer (thanks Cece) what I meant to say is that since your hearing is controlled from the sup...

Dr. Sclafani, Are the external jugular veins also tested for CCSVI? I know that they have not proven to be a regular problem but what about for the people like myself who have lost hearing in one ear? And at times even my good ear rings and pops and feels plugged like my bad one does all of the tim...

Re: mega azygous vein
snagit would come in handy for me.... There is a narrowing in the very lowest portion of the azygous, beginning about an inch from the bottom of the image. Up at the top of the arch there is a point where it goes from bloated to less bloated. Like a snake that swallowed a mouse. But it's still quit...
