link for feedback to MS Society (Canadians and others)
Please follow the link and respond to the survey from the MS Society. Some of the issues you may want to address are: - your perception of whether they have been acting in the best interests of persons with MS - the quality of the "educational information" they have provided regarding CCSV...

Re: Senator Jane Cody's address to the Canadian Senate
Thanks for the post! Lots of good information here to pass along for those wanting to write letters or meet with their political representatives! It is reassuring to know that there is some good work being done on our behalf.

Re: AtlasBalance (jaw misalignment) Dr M Amir - Putney Londo
Began reading this interesting thread and became a bit confused when I got to the part where an article by one of Dr. Amir's patients is reproduced. The doctor's comments which follow include the following quote: "While I can understand the patient’s sentiments, I would be most reluctant to rai...

Re: NICE Allows CCSVI Procedure in UK - 28 Mar 12
Wonderful work Mark! In my discussions I tend to put a strong focus on CCSVI as a vascular disorder that has been demonstrated to affect many persons with MS. I note the symptoms attributed to MS which are also symptoms of compromised oxygen perfusion to the brain. I sometimes focus on the hemodynam...

Scottish Persons with MS / CCSVI health system input
Have done some catch up reading on this site and see that NICE is not just Scottish, but NHS wide. Rather than delete my post will just add the links to the threads already providing information. (Great work Mark et al . Hope there is positive result!) http://www.thisisms.com/ftopict-16578.html www....

I wish to make a couple of comments. One is about the medical system in Canada, and the other is about the cost of angioplasty. In Canada private medical care is basically illegal. There are not supposed to be any private clinics here. Instead, we have publicly funded health care and the Canada Heal...

Hi Zinamaria The Juicer I have is a Brevelle Juice Fountain. I liked it because it is not too expensive, it works well, and you can put apples into it whole. When you juice veggies, you can use the pulp to make soup, so nothing is wasted. Pulp from fruit (if you core the apples) can be used for baki...

You can make your own beet juice. Just wash them and throw them into a juicer. I use organic ones. You can use the stalks and leaves too. I often add carrot, apple and celery. Fresh ginger improves the taste. May try adding some cayanne... I have a Breville juicer (around a hundred bucks if I recall).
