Re: Wahls diet discussion

Great! You are the person we need to speak to. So can you give some examples of foods/meals you prepare? How about raw versus cooked? juicing? shakes and smoothies? How did you commence?

MRV

Careful - because not all mrv's can see the azygous vein and you NEED to confirm this. I did my mrv in Frankfurt and it could not get to the azygous vein. The doctor needed to examine the vein when I was on the table.

Re-stenosis following procedure

Thank you annad. I will do it again as soon as they figure out 'stents' At least I know, what to look forward to. I'm telling you those first 2 days were heaven. My thinking was crystal clear. Unbelievable. No one could ever understand the clarity. My thinking is always foggy and well, just plain du...

Re-stenosis following procedure

I had the Liberation procedure done on March 10, 2010. I felt good for all of two days when I started to feel ill again. I was told to wait as it takes time. I had my eco-doppler done today which confirmed the stenosis returned in the same place as it was, left int jugular vein. I remember you stati...

CT-V Scan vs. MRV

Dr. Sclafani,

Thank you for that explanation. Could the CT-V be giving false negatives?

I'm wondering why a neuro would prefer to use CT V scans with MS patients as opposed to an MRV?

CCSVI

Yes you can pay private clinics. So far, I have not paid for one test in Ontario but I am using regular avenues of getting testing... ie req from doctor doctor schedules procedure it is covered by OHIP I paid for an MRV in Frankfurt because the doctor doing the procedure wanted to do his own. But, o...

CT-V Scan vs. MRV

Dearest Dr. Sclafani,

CT-V Scan vs. MRV

Could you please explain the difference between the two methods of scanning and comment on the likelihood of finding the CCSVI blockages with a CT-V Scan?

Thank you.

Blood Thinners

Dr. Sclafani: Sorry to go back to this topic but I have a couple questions. Given that I wasn't given blood thinners [therefore, I guess, Dr. T. Vogl does not follow Zamboni's protocol] and given I have terrible headaches and do not feel 'healed' like so many do... Could it be possible that I clotte...

Dear Dr. Sclafani, I had the liberation treatment done in Germany on March 10 and have not been feeling what everyone else has/is feeling. I was told that I had 50% stenosis in 2 areas of the left int jugular vein. He actually cautioned me against doing the procedure as it was only 50% You posted th...

I did the mrv in Frankfurt at a cost of 1200 euro [1700 Cdn].

Dr. Vogl preferred that he do it, since he was doing the procedure. It just made sense.
