Dr. Mehta is doing venograms without angio right now. That is what he is offering until he has IRB.

Dr. Siskin placed two stents in me and I did not need ultrasound the next a.m. Additionally - he told me to have an ultrasound of my neck when I felt like I needed it locally with an IR.

My symptoms preprocedure were ringing in ears. That is gone. Brain fog. Now gone. Headaches - haven't had one yet. Severe fatigue. Haven't dealt with that yet, just normal fatigue. My gait is the same and my numbness and tingling seem to be about the same. I can live with that. The ringing in my ear...

How would they check this out? I had this done out of state. I was told by my doctor who did the Liberation that I only needed follow up care with Doppler once a year for my IJV. Additionally - I was out of it when we spoke postop and I forgot what he said about following up my azygous. I would thin...

I did email him the evening following my surgery and told him about my back/chest discomfort. He said that was normal and should go away within a few days. A different CCSVI friend told me it would take a few weeks. (She had azygous stenting). My pain level has decreased since Thursday postop, but i...

Was just liberated - have a few postop questions

I was liberated 7/21 in NY. Angio of the left IJV + two adjoining stents placed in the azygous. (Which the doctor told me that my azygous looked like a twist-a-balloon from a birthday party). Anyway - surgery went well on Wednesday a.m. I am having significant postop discomfort in my right upper bac...

Sorry. I have been away. My site is part of Lavonna's site. msliberationusa.com Dr. Kumar's information for the hospital site is: www.jghdelhi.net. He has trained with someone regarding this - I am not sure who. He was very nice on the phone and India is totally onboard with CCSVI testing, research,...

Liberation in India with Dr. Kumar

Just wanted to pass the word along that I spoke with Dr. Pramod Kumar in India a few days ago via phone. His facility (link below) is offering FREE liberation to anyone interested. Apparently there is a huge interest in CCSVI in India and lack of MS patients there to treat. He has done a few surgeri...

Glad to hear that you were able to have this done and get some answers. Can't wait to hear the whole story. This was certainly a step in the right direction. I believe we all have a long road ahead of us with this.

you have several options just as wichita stated above. I would stay on all the lists mentioned until you figure out what will best work for you. If you have the protocol and you have someone near you that can do the protocol PROPERLY, I would suggest staying close to home and trying to get your insu...
