Re: The biotin trial results are out

BTW using pure biotin powder (no filler) and a manual capsule filler I started taking 300mg per day yesterday. The powder came with a bonus electronic scale (100 gram capacity with a tare function to subtract the capsule weight). May I ask where you bought it? I'd like to find out too-don't think i...

Re: japan--saying they might have an ms cure

This page has his email if you would like to contact him and let us all know what you find out: http://www.ncnp.go.jp/nin/guide/r_men/yamamura-e.html Searching on Google scholar for this guy leads to a number of hits coming from different angles. Its a big claim, with no supporting evidence. If it ...

I thought this was discovered in 2008?
Anyway, any update on the trial?

Re: MS BREAKTHROUGH RADIO INTERVIEW

Thank you for posting Seeva,

This sounds very exciting.
The patient that was treated had SPMS. I wonder if this would apply to PPMS as that is considered a completely separate disease process?

Re: Multiple Sclerosis: MS Treatment 'Breakthrough'

This sounds like the most positive find scientists have ever made for MS yet.

I wonder what others think?

Re: What is going on?

Would you say the same thing for PPMS'ers? I would, Daisy. I know that some people think the various forms of MS are actually different diseases with different causes. However, I think that people accurately diagnosed with MS (no matter the variety – RRMS, SPMS, PPMS,…) have symptoms resulting from...

Is it just me?

I really feel upset when I look online to see if there is any updates on research on MS that would help us understand the disease and try to treat it. It is even more shameful that our 'experts' have no idea about progressive MS at all.
If you have any glimmers of hope then please share..

So, the OH tried this drug in the last few weeks and has actually deteriorated. I have not seen such a rapid and more scary deterioration in him before. He is off the drug now but I fear the bad legs are here to stay.

Re: help .primary progressive multiplescelrosis

Is anyone being prescribed Intrathecal methotrexate in the UK for PPMS? Our Neurologist is pretty conservative and says no whenever we make a request. Admittedly, the requests are not on drugs tested on PPMS,but what is? We really only anectodal evidence to go on..and I don't think I could take it if...

Re: What can i do to improve my vision - Nystagmus

Hello DC, My OH has nystagmus so I really sympathise. I also had to respond and share what meagre information I think you might find useful.. Contact lenses help him to control the nystagmus when he needs to concentrate and the other thing he uses is eye gel for sore eyes. These are both anectodal,a...
