Interesting prices because I got a call on Monday and the cost was not that high. I was asked if I was interested in coming in and have the venogram ($600). I would like a trial with a IRB before I sign up. They have not gotten appproval yet for a trial. I think it is impartitive that results are sh...

Just attended the one yesterday for the BNAC here in Buffalo (Hamburg). They did raise over $1000 but I think they needed better advertsing because I stumbled upon it on facebook. I did get to meet with the Dr who did my doppler at the BNAC and had a interesting conversation with him. He returns to ...

My girlfriend out in Chicago goes to Mayo. She goes and sees a female who is a Devic specialist. I had discussed CCSVI with her before she left and she was very interested and I wondered since she had devic if the azygos was involved. Her specialist was hostile to her when she brought it up so she d...

I realize that everybody likes to be negative but I have a different few of the leaving of DR Munsch and it comes from this: One of the more intriguing experimental drugs for multiple sclerosis has just entered its first clinical trial. Cambridge, MA-based Biogen Idec (NASDAQ: BIIB) has now started ...

As to what Dr Munsch ment by" wealthy" I couldn't inturrpert his meaning. I took it as negative originally but then I mulled it over and though I was just being sensitive. My friend from Chicago went to Mayo and took the info to her Dr who is a Devic's specialist and she did not get a good...

I feel the same way as you . Should I "go for it" but know the line is already long. Once the UB study gives a report next week there is going to be a lot of American who will know about it.(I'm assuming it is postitive.) My GP was not thrilled with the stenting > My husband who works for ...

I don't fault the MS society for being cautious. What I would have like to have seen was the Canadian societys response which was we have some cash send us your research parameters. I just got off the phone with my GP. As Im tell him about the research he is on his computer and brining up article af...

I myself just recieved the call today for the doppler at UB. If you find any answers to your questions I would be very interested. I have asked around about stenting and every person said they wouldn't use a Dr in Buffalo. There has to be some UB participants that got stents? Kim
