Going for my 8th venoplasty
I have not been on this forum for a long time. My question is why would my jugulars keep restenosing? I have an appointment this next Thursday April 1st 2021 for my 8th venoplasty on my jugulars. This is my 4th doctor and will be the 3rd time with him. Does anyone have any wisdom for me?
Thanks,
Jim
Thanks,
Jim

CCSVI treatment options in or around Indiana
I am aware of Dayton Interventional Radiology. Are there other options in or around northeastern Indiana? Has anyone been treated by Dayton?

Re: Dayton Interventional Radiology
I have a sinus infection. I have been on an antibiotic for 3 days now and am feeling much better. I was fearing the worst before going to the doctor for an exam. I hate that when I am feeling tired and worn down that CCSVI is the first thing that pops into my head. Here's a thread from last year: ht...

Re: Dayton Interventional Radiology
Thanks Cece. I don't know if I am having issues from possible re-stenosing or I have something else going on. We have to live with this for the rest of our lives and when something is not feeling right that is one of the first things that comes to mind. I might see about having an ultrasound to chec...

Dayton Interventional Radiology
I was treated by Dr. Makris in Chicago over 2 years ago. I recently have been having issues and was wondering if I have re-stenosed. Has anyone been treated or know anything about Dayton Interventional Radiology in Ohio? I might want to have an ultrasound done or a check up.

Re: Dr. Makris in Chicago
Has anyone heard from anyone else having been treated by Dr. Makris in Chicago? I am close to 10 months post-procedure and have not heard much about him for quite some time. After Medicare started to refuse venoplasty treatments for "MS" I lost contact with him. Medicare won't even pay fo...

Re: CCSVI and private insurance
I have insurance with my employer. I am just thinking into the future. I would hope that I would not have to deal with re-stenosing anytime soon. It would be nice if this was widely accepted by all insurance companies, that is what we pay the premiums for, so I thought.

CCSVI and private insurance
I had the procedure done in Chicago in March and was denied coverage from my insurance company. I was wondering if someone out there had there procedure covered by insurance and if the doctors office filed the claim. My procedure was filed by AAC. I would think they would know how to work the insura...

I did file a claim with the Indiana Department of Insurance and I emailed my insurance company to let them know and that I am looking into discrimination laws to see if I have any legal rights on the matter. I sent the email a few hours ago and am waiting on a reply. I probably will not here anythin...
