CLINICAL TRIALS USING STEM CELLS FOR MS

So it seems like "finally" there are quiet a few clinical trials using stem cells for MS in some countries and also in US. This should have happened years ago. Dr. Sadiq in NY has had good results. The studies are limited to EDSS < 6.5 except for one study at TISCH center. How can we push ...

Re: Has anyone been to Panama City in Panama for Stem Cell ?

I am thinking about going to Panama Stem Cell Institute. MSC seems to be a successful treatment for MS. I think it is very sad that this option is not provided for us in US. All countries are on their way and we are behind. The trials I see are limited and are autologous only. Because of "moral...

"It also has to be noted that it was one death in a small group. Any blip will screw the percentages." This death was directly attributed to the chemo and is significant. The various reports on this therapy all state it is quite risky. At this time, this is basically an option of last res...

Re: RE AGGRESSIVE STEM CELL THERAPY STOPS M.S RELAPES AS PER

I'm just thinking , why only 24 people? After 14 years !!! It's good that this group has been monitored but the study goes back to early 2000's. What else has been done regarding this study? I think a similar procedure is done for cancer. It's worth considering their studies. I'm glad the case has b...

Regarding Stanford study for injecting stem cells in the brain. In case of MS , what if the damage is mostly in the spine not the brain?

I found this very inspiring. I have changed my eating habits.
I wish there were more reports on raw eating or other similar diets and MS.

A drug that is natural, can be taken orally, is more effective than any current med. and some drug company can make money out of it.
.... ok !

Interesting. I know exactly what you mean by changes that happen only in a few days. Keep checking on your condition daily. I hope you will see some improvements soon.

I wonder if there has been any similar studies in the US.
Everything I read was something I've already heard about.

Re: Lipoic acid may provide ‘inexpensive’ MS treatment

I wonder why 1200mg ?
The study took almost 2 years. At what point did anyone felt any improvements in walking?
Anyway... I am talking ALA 300mg once a day and I will increase it to 600mg.
Let the experiments begin.
