Hi LyndaCarol. Just checking to see if anyone is on the site. Sure not used much by us older ones. I agree with you, we need to go our own path and do what works for us. Reading posts from others does help to keep one sane, to know others have similar problems and not crazy. I'm still not sure what ...

What to say. I feel the same about a lot of what you two are talking about. Frustration with no real answers. Do not want a drug to help if not really needed because of side effects from it which may be worse than the ailment. Concern asking another neuro. for a second opinion when the one I've been...

any suggestions re jumpy reflexes
Hello to any one out there. Does not seem to be much talk on this post. Thought I would put a question out there, as I have done in the past. Still no definite dx just Central Nervous System Disorder. See Neuro every 6 months or so and he sees some changes each time but not progressing very fast. La...

Hi all. I have been doing restorative yoga for a few years now. Has been very helpful. I cannot stand on one foot, fall over when eyes shut, etc. Instructor is trained to help people with mobility and balance problems and has a very small class, up to 6. The breathing has been very helpful and use i...

Hi Mike. Glad the fires are getting under control. Hopefully this rain will help. Sure is helping our garden. Did your MRI report say anything about MS? The one before my last one said could be MS when 2 more lesions showed and they were in an area that could show MS. All very inconclusive. I have a...

Hi Mike. I did not have the MRI at UBC because the neuro wanted to compare my previous ones from VGH. Because I asked for the results and paid $60.00 for a CD of the images received over a week ago. See my neuro Sept. 18th. Very interesting to see all the pictures they take and how you can go into t...

Hi Mike. Yes, I had an MRI a week ago Thurs. Was booked for March but was on the cancellation list for VGH. My neuro wanted it to be there because of comparison with my others done there. Well, that was for not. They used the newer machine, tech said it would be OK. I picked up the report and a CD o...

eburgdave, thank you for your reply. The Neuro. I have been seeing the past 6 years is an MS specialist, works with the MS clinic at the University of British Columbia, and is known to be one of the best for MS. He does not dx unless he is sure. He has not stopped looking at what it might be, has dx...

Mike, my symptoms are always with me but do change. My new normal. Do not have days where everything is gone. If I do too much, as I did yesterday, cannot do much the next day. I'm worse in the heat, can work on our farm shorter periods, not after 11:30 am but can again around 8pm or so. Has to do w...

Just saw your post. I'm not in your situation, I'm possible MS, but did help with parents care for awhile and this can be a difficult area for loved ones. We had some help in the mornings and evenings through the Gov't health services and did the best we could through out the day. I suggest you call...

Hi Mike. Thanks for the post. The Neuro wanted another MRI because 2 more lesions were seen on the last one and he wanted to see if more changes within a year. Where did you have your MRI's? Mine have been VGH and usually the wait is no longer than 3 months or less. UBC has a shorter time but no cal...

A few off days and had another fall. Seems my right foot is dropping more and I was wearing flip flops. Guess I'll have to stop wearing. Bear feet are OK so will do. Can feel more when nothing on my feet. Nothing broken, just bruised pride and skinned knee. My husband was near by and got a scare, th...

We are looking at what we are doing and how to make easier. Have done some changes the past few years a...
