I’m 4 weeks and 4 days post angioplasty and I don’t have big improvements. I wish I could walk even just a little bit. I see some small improvements that come and go, but I’m nowhere near getting up from the wheelchair. Rest assured, Dr Siskin + clinic staff are great. I got the Dr's report which no...

Does anyone know what type of stents Dr. Siskin in Albany uses?
What are they called and made of?

I'm getting anxious that I may need a stent.
Thanks for your help.

Hi everyone! Gosh, you don't know how nice it feels to be out of bed rest and reading-up on my favorite forum. Needless to say, I'm looking forward to widening my narrowed IJV (only Doppler confirmed at this point) at Dr S's office in Albany. I try to hope and find strength. I'm living by the minute...

Hi Dr S, I just really need to know if there are people in wheelchairs who do the liberation procedure with good results. I'm in a wheelchair now for the past 2 years. I've had RRMS and I still get RR symptoms, but my walking hasn't returned. Strange. Frustrating. Now, I learn from a Doppler test th...

OK. I spoke with Dr Siskin on May 27, 2010. I'll be treated at the clinic. I'm excited. I wish it was easier to get this done and sooner for everyone. I was 25th in line and I couldn't be squeezed-in for Septermber. It just doesn't make sense to me. :?: If they're treating 100 patients per month, do...

Hi,
I called the general number. BUT I got a call just now from Beth just earlier scheduling me for Oct 21.

So, it doesn't sound like they were able to fit me in Sept.

Could they see less than 90/month?? It doesn't make sense.

Does anyone have any idea how many procedures Dr. Siskin does each week? OR month?? I have been told that I'm 25th in line and Rachelle is hoping to fit me in for a September date. Now, I think October is more likely. I just wonder when about so I can ask + book someone to drive me. Thanks for anyon...

I'm writing to ask if anyone knows the names of any recommended Drs (vascular?) or maybe investigational radiologists who would remove an obstructing valve in the jugular vein. Right now, I'm near the Buffalo area. It's hard for me, but I'll travel if I must. I just don't have a clue of who can help...

I know that Dr. Siskin has entered from the right of the body to do the liberation procedure in the past. I understand Dr. Sclafani is entering the body on the left now.

Does anybody know if Dr. Siskin goes from the left now too???

Thanks,
Sofia K.

Does anyone have an appointment with Dr Siskin for testing and treatment that they don't want? I can't get an appointment, never mind soon. I know I have CCSVI from Doppler test results. It's just torture not being able to sleep (spasms), eat (I choke) or walk (paralysis). I can't handle long travel...
