Re: Mayo Clinic Vein Reconstruction Surgery for CCSVI !!
I have been in contact with a woman since reading Mike's blog has seen Dr Stone. This is what she wrote to me. "I had my apptmt with the Mayo MS doc that Dr. Stone wanted me to consult with. MS Doc is NOT against the surgery, says I have an unusual condition. C.T.s showed that my left IJV is t...

Re:
It is looking more and more like the wheels of the CCSVI theory are comming off the wagon. Unfortunately, I think no matter how much evidence is provided that refutes CCSVI, some people are not going to give up on this thoery. HSCT and other stem cell treatments may be the best hope for repairing d...

Lets be careful about making these types of statements. I AM in a wheelchair/scooter and know of no one who has walked away from a chair after CCSVI surgery. Believe me, I keep looking, phoning people I hear of through friends. etc. We don't need false hope, we need the accurate truth. Didn't Mamma...

Re: I've decided to support the MS Society.
So why am I advocating support for the MS Society? Maybe I’m naive but I believe that they are coming around. I sense a change within the organization. A slow change but a change none the less. The Board of Directors are beginning to think for themselves rather than simply relying on the advice of ...

Re: Dr. Hubbard, Alarming Comment from Seattle
I've looked, but I see no mention in this thread of the fact that both his wife and daughter had been complaining of severe fatigue for years before his son developed MS. I wasn't aware of that. Makes sense to me. Hubbard brings this up in his talks on YT. But, he hadn't mentioned his own non-norma...

prairiegirl, Dr. Sclafani has mentioned that a regular MRV is not very useful. The Haacke MRV is the only MRV capable of determining flow problems and identifying CCSVI via MRV. The doppler US for CCSVI is operator dependent and requires a high degree of skill and experience. I have never endorsed ...

Thanks always for your thoughtful comment and research.
And, gosh, try not be too afraid of this dangerous and potentially life-threatening procedure.
