My tinnitus comes and goes. I usually notice it when I'm getting ready for bed/rest. It also comes on either the left or right side - not consistent there.

For me it was definitely stress that pushed me over the edge. I'd felt that something wasn't right with me for a while, but I didn't have any severe symptoms at the time. My mom had a stroke and while I wasn't living at home at the time, it still caused me lots of stress...

BPPV?

I know that I've seen several mentions of vertigo in my MS searches, but I'm wondering if anyone has been diagnosed with BPPV? I feel much better after I do the Epley procedure but I am severly vertigo prone now. I can't lift my head to look up, I use 3 pillows to sleep and always sleep on the same ...

I haven't taken Cinnamon long enough to know if it truly works, but it does help me feel better (so far). I have had the procedure (actually a few times) and still feel that there is merit and I'll hope that it is figured out why my veins don't want to expand, but I guess I'll keep hoping - in the m...

dania, Thanks for your questions. I think in this forum we hope to find some answers. I have a LJV that is blocked and my speech has started slurring as a result, I may not have other choices how to fix this. I find out if the RJV is still open in a few weeks, but with my sudden decline I can't be v...

I would recommend when looking at diets that you make sure to decide what you can and can't live without. Look at the Best Bet diet and the Swank Diet online - I think those are two of the most popular. I personally cut out all foods that could cause allergies then re-introduced to see what made me ...

Is it possible to only have reflux? It seems as though the valves are responsible for this and if not properly addressed could cause an unsuccessful procedure? Any thoughts?

I want my IR to treat my veins and my Neurologist to treat my nerves. That being said, my Neurologist hasn't done much besides offer me drugs; but he doesn't know how they work. I don't doubt that they work for some people, but I'm not going to put something in my body when they can't tell me why. T...

I have bad veins, so have issues again, but my experience at Tokuda Hospital in Sophia, Bulgaria was good. I was feeling terrible at the time so didn't ask any questions or talk to the doctors like I should have; it was tough for me knowing that English was their second language. I am in the US, so ...

I've had issues again since my procedure for CCSVI, but for a long while after I didn't have the throbbing/pounding in my ears. I get vertigo (again, that was about 6 months after that it came back), so I sleep inclined rather than flat and that seems to help. I haven't had issues with whistling. Ho...

I heard from Holly today - Hooray! I know she's super swamped so am hoping it gets better in the new year for every one. Malden & Lyon - You both have good points sometimes, so would you mellow out on the arguing and bringing up stupid stuff? It may be good for people to know that the CCSVI proc...

I hope that people with negative results will post and continue posting so others can see what happens. I worry about these people and hear initial comments, but don't hear in the long run if they continue to have issues, maintain, or start to get better from those issues that were unexpected. I hop...

I saw that too - don't they destroy the valves? I thought valves could grow back and possibly assist in re-stenosis? I may be confused, it wouldn't surprise me! Now I'm curious and may have to look into that...
