Not yet, I'm seeing EDS specialist next week. My case might take some time because of the genetic tests and situation evaluation.

I'll report my case here when something "falls through the cracks"...if so.

Peace!

Re: Is this stenosis in my deep cerebral vein?

perkele that looks like the carotid artery to me. seems a bit irregular possibly due to some atherosclerosis DrS Thank you for your reply, The thing here is that the picture was taken two years ago when I was 23 years old. I find highly unlikely that what we are seeing here is atherosclerosis. I ha...

Is this stenosis in my deep cerebral vein?

Hi Dr.Sclafani, Could you give your opinion about my vein (deep cerebral?). These pictures are from my brain MRI and these pics represent the deep cerebral veins, if I'm correct. I think I see clear stenosis there but your opinion would be highly valued. To see all of the images click the picture. h...

Should gluten be excluded from my diet?

George Jelinek gives a good insight in this coeliac discussion: There is a number of researchers who contend that, in an evolutionary sense, legumes, and gluten in cereals, are relatively recent additions to the human diet. These protein-rich foods may be implicated in a host of auto-immune diseases...

Re: C-Spine

Perkele, Again, the lateral veiw of your brain is near perfect. On the other hand, you have hypermobility syndrome and you appear to have a short steep base in the cranial vault. You may have an Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS) POTS type variation of MS. Do you have any abnormal curvatures in the spine...

Re: C-Spine

Hello Perkele, Your cervical MRI is near perfect. You do have steep axial-clival angle to the base of your skull and you may have a short base as well but I can't see enough of the head to tell at this point. What are your signs and symptoms? Hey Doc, At this moment I’m categorized CIS and I also h...

C-Spine

Hi Dr. Flanagan, Could you please check my c-spine MRI and tell your opinion about it. So far doctors (three) have been saying that it is unremarkable but at the same time in my paper it says: " Normal cervical spinal cord with no intramedullary cord lesion. C1-1; no subluxation, no spinal sten...

Marc you took words from my mouth. It would be intresting to see how degenerative process differs between MSers with or without CCSVI. "My take, after reading all the available research, is that CCSVI alone is most likely not the cause of MS. It certainly seems to be a factor in who gets MS, bu...

POTS and CCSVI

I have been wondering about connection between Postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome and CCSVI. There seems to be so much common in these two conditions. POTS "Postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS, also postural tachycardia syndrome) is a condition of dysautonomia, more specifica...

Glatiramer acetate in combination with minocycline

Latest update of Professor George Jelinek Canadian researchers have shown a large improvement in people with MS taking minocycline, a common antibiotic used for acne, in combination with Copaxone (M+Co), compared with those taking Copaxone (Co) alone. The study outcomes for the M+Co were a 63-65% re...

Re: Primary Progressive Question

Is anyone able to honesty say that they have halted/changed the outcome of Primary Progressive MS through diet or medication? I have read and seen many testimonials about LDN halting PPMS progression. There has been also one small study where they measured the safety and tolerability. A sixth month...

Cardiovascular autonomic dysfunction in MS patients - Study

This is Finnish study that investigates the cardiovascular and sudomotor autonomic control in clinically definite MS patients. The conclusion of the study is that the findings of the present study indicate that both MS and optic neuritis injure the autonomic nervous system. The main conclusions are:...
