Heat intolerance

I used to be extremely heat intolerant, have that gross fatigue that sends you to bed for a couple of hours to recover from having a shower, etc. I was in a bad way, but then I discovered Low Dose Naltrexone (LDN). The heat intolerance, fatigue, bladder/bowel probs, stiffness & more Vanished. I ...

I was diagnosed with MS, then 8 years later, Hashimoto's Disease, then 2 years after that, Coeliac Disease, so I have three auto-immune conditions. For many years I was given no particular treatment, except prednisone, & then, 8 years of inter-betaferon, 10 of methotrexate. These did nothing for...

Eye pain cont.

Forgot to mention that I had Bell's Palsy on the right hand side of my face on about year 7. My face dropped right down, but luckily this was a short episode for only a few days. The right eye, eyelid & brow is a slightly different shape now.

Eye pain

Hi Dr Diana - My name - ha ha! Yes, Ned was my nickname as a schoolgirl - the first letter of my christian name followed by the first two letters of my maiden name. It seems stuck with me forever! For many years I had a severe intermittent left eye pain. It was like a vertical line from the top of m...

Eye symptoms

Dear Dr Diana Early on in my MS history, about year 6, my eyes became "fixed" straight ahead. I couldn't move my eyes to the left, right, up or down. If I wanted to look to the left or right, I had to turn not only my head, but my body to look in that direction. This was very inconvenient,...

IBT numb hands & forearms

I've had my third angioplasty for CCSVI 60% stenosed L & R jugular & azygous. I have always had very numb hands and forearms when lying in bed, and angio did nothing to relieve this, so in the last few months I've tried sleeping with two pillows. The effect is Instant! Within 30seconds, the ...

Epiblast stem cells

The article, isolation of epiblast stem cells from preimplantation of mouse embryos, by Dr Tesar, was published in Cell in 2007.
It is said this research has potential to repair myelin damage in neurodegenerative diseases.
Are you aware of any further developments since 2007?

X-Cell Center

Has anyone had stem cell treatment at this centre?

Does anyone know how this treatment works when you don't have to have chemotherapy?

Hashimoto's & LDN

I was diagnosed with Hashimoto's 23 years ago. Have been taking LDN - fantastic stuff - for one year. So far my blood tests for thyroid haven't changed at all, but was hoping that the LDN would alter the condition to enable me to give a tablet the flick. Would be interested to know how long it takes...

Hi Dr Sclafani Thankyou for your reply & here are the answers to your questions : My disease burden prior to angioplasty was one of gross fatigue, and physical slowness. I had been experiencing severe stiffness, and couldn't get into bed, or roll over. This was for about 2 months. Due to that, I...

GiCi

I think "GiCi" is Dr Gianfranco Campalari, who is a specialist Cardiologist. He originated from Ferrara in Italy. the same town as Prof Zamboni. He met Dr Zamboni at a dinner party, and subsequently had the liberation treatment, which was successful. He re-stenosed, and another doctor trea...
