@cece...Rhode Island just called me back so we'll go there because the wait time is short. Only a month. It's about a 12 hour drive. My husband had great improvements the first time but some of his symptoms have returned. He didn't have stents the first time. Thanks for your responses.

We're from Halifax Nova Scotia. This procedure isn't offered in Canada so unfortunately we can't have it done locally. We would also be driving, not flying.

My husband was liberated in Bulgaria in September. He has restenosed and we're trying to decide whether to go to Rhode Island or California. Any opinions good or bad would be appreciated.

Ales, I'm so happy that your procedure was a success. It brought tears to my eyes. My husband goes to Bulgaria in September and it can't come soon enough. Take care and I'll pray for your continuous healing.

I just read that they aren't using stents at this time in Costa Rica. So if you need one you're out of luck. Also the doctor requires that you stay for 13 days. As much as I'd love to be there for 13 days I have too many responsibilites at home for that long a stay.

I'm from Nova Scoita and I know who I won't be voting for in the next election!!
