The 8K was the total cost for both diagnosis and treatment? Or is it just for the venoplasty and testing is extra?

So how do you feel? Did you benefit from treatment?

The more success stories we have out there, the more open people will be to the procedure. I can tell you that the Albany team was great!!! Everyone- including the nurses- are aware of the CCSVI procedure and are just as excited as we are when we see improvements. Trust me, guys- the wait is worth ...

Re: Hotel-Wheelchair accessible- New York/Siskin

I am planning on getting the angioplasty in New York via Dr. Siskin's Clinic. Now I can only afford to do it via the clinic not hospital. I a am in a wheelchair 24-7. What is the best hotel, closest to his clinic? (711 troy-schenectady rd latham new york-I have that right?) How far is it from the a...

Re: queue jumping

Euromedic does not allow queue jumping, but AMEDs does. They have set aside a certain # of appointments exclusively for Passport Medical. I would prefer to wait for Euromedic, but does anyone have any real idea what the wait time is? Have they, in fact, stopped accepting new patients? I emaile Euro...

Re: Details of my procedure from July 27th... Bulgaria

Thanks for sharing your experience. It would be tough for me to travel that far and still not have all insufficient veins fixed, but I think that was a very wise decision. At least you know that option is there for you.

Wishing you continued improvements.

Re: testing not available anymore

As you can see from Westmount square's website, they are no longer providing testing. http://www.radiologymontreal.com/ So, can anyone tell me if the only canadian option for all the testing, using the correct protocols, remains False Creek? Last I heard, it is a 5-6 month waiting list (not too bad...

I'm sure you can find major names who are doing it openly even--the Vascular Group in Albany (Dr. Mehta), Dr. Siskin and his group, the Arizona group... even if you don't get other names... Those first two are doing the procedure at their clinics rather than the hospital, specifically because their...

Interesting prices because I got a call on Monday and the cost was not that high. I was asked if I was interested in coming in and have the venogram ($600). I would like a trial with a IRB before I sign up. They have not gotten appproval yet for a trial. I think it is impartitive that results are s...

Did you have any improvement initially or was it downhill from the start? Have you had a check up of your veins to see if maybe you've re-stenosed? Maybe they didn't check something and missed your problem?

I'm so sorry to hear your situation and hope you get some real answers soon.
