BTD
The Blood Type Diet has changed my life! My RRMS was advancing and I'd been in a relapse for over a year with no end in sight when I decided to "give the BTD a go" since nothing else worked for me. I was skeptical because I'd been on the Swank diet years previous with no results. Once I st...

I always told my ex-girlfriend that if the tables had turned and IT WAS HER who had got MS that I would have been by her side taking care of her, comforting her, and loving her 24/7 but she told me that was unrealistic... She couldn't be there for me the way I Needed her to be, and so, I left her b...

Focus on one thing at a time; instead of thinking about being 50, think about tomorrow, next week, next month, next year maybe. So maybe that might be bad advice for you but I put myself in your place and that's what I would want to hear. I had optic neuritis at 8 and I went blind, it was scary but ...

I wonder the same sometimes, I'm 23, diagnosed at 12. The dating thing has never been easy, especially middle school/high school when my health was not so great. I've been relapse-free for nearly three years, I healthy and happy! I don't anticipate another attack since I've been taking care of mysel...

I was diagnosed with MS 11 years ago, I'm just 23 and sometimes it is hard for me to remember a time without some sort of MS symptom (optic neuritis at 8) but I DO remember the two years I was on the swank diet. I followed it strictly yet I was bed ridden and on more drugs than I could handle. Now, ...

Numbness is the most common symptom for me. Seems like I always have some sort of numbness, right now I'm in the middle of an attack so both legs and torso are numb (yet I walk just fine, funny how that works). The biggest thing that has helped me is diet. I've been on the Blood Type Diet for a year...

Technology allows so many things anymore! When I was diagnosed at 12, I hardly knew what MS was. I know it is increasingly being diagnosed at younger ages but MS is still not too common among teens. What helped for me was to know people in similar situations (chrons, lupus, whatever it may be) that ...

I was diagnosed when I was just twelve and its already been ten years, dang. Let me tell you what I learned about sharing with friends about MS. First of all, you are going to know right away who is your friend and who isn't and that is probably the best thing about having MS, you learn so much abou...

late or missing
I'm new here and really haven't had a chance to look around. Forgive me if I am posting in the wrong topic but I really just have a question to ask the women. Do you feel like you are late or even skip periods during a bad attack? I never have before but now that I'm two months into an attack and nu...
