Great now I have to google GABA. :) I read entirely too much about Melatonin last night. http://www.healingtherapies.info/PinealGland2.htm That is a page talking about melatonin and upper cervical spinal cord injury. Apparently giving Melatonin to rats before you injure their spinal cord makes the i...

In your hypothetical scenario the problem is that you think that something needs to be done about results that are different than you imagined they would be. You publish the research without tweaking and without jumping to unsupported conclusions because that is science, or what science is supposed ...

I am new to reading medical studies and as I read more I find it really funny sometimes what the people running the study conclude so decisively. One or more abnormal extracranial venous ultrasound findings were observed in 26 of 50 (52.0%) pMS patients, in 35 of 110 (31.8%) healthy controls (HCs) (...

Is paresthesia caused by lesions in the brain and spinal cord? Does the numbness come and go for anyone else? Worse when you are tense and better when rested? Better in the morning worse in the afternoon? Sometimes even completely gone for a bit? From what I understand once you have a lesion it is t...

Dr Lee has stated in his papers that the tissue involved is mesenchymal tissue. This tissue type is very responsive to certain hormones. It becomes elastic and pliant. Which hormones? Do you have links to the papers or any more info pretty please? One more thing that I notice now and I've noticed b...

I haven't seen them in a while but several years ago here at thisisms there were a few study articles we had discussed which showed that the very act of a non MS specific medical procedure can have an impact on MS, for what that's worth. I remember a while back someone posted a Parkinson's study dr...

Hmm...the Placebo pill is still a pill that has something in it? Presumably sugar? Maybe someone in the study should ask the question, could it be that sugar could help treat IBS? This ingredient is probably a binder in other pills? Maybe the inert ingredient isn't as inert as they think? Yeah it co...

What data? Zamboni is still saying there needs to be more testing to prove exactly what effect the treatment of CCSVI has on MS. I do not know why they would say something like this. This is VERY misleading. I think Zamboni says there needs to be more testing to determine whether or not CCSVI cause...
