Re: Copaxone 40mg and intense exercise
This is what I was doing in terms of time on the bike during the time before I got sick. Time/mileage does not include rides done in indoors which I believe there was 3 in there and also whatever cross training I did. This will give you an idea of how my 2 years of no copaxone and no relapses was li...

Re: Copaxone 40mg and intense exercise
I take 20mg daily and exercise vigorously on an almost daily basis BUT wear a cooling vest during such exercises. As every person responds differently, you will need to see for yourself what you can do and handle and how your body responds. I do think that preventing getting hot is paramount but th...

Re: New from Miami, Florida
Hi Wendy, I am also from Miami just curious because I rarely speak with people with MS. Do you know of any active support groups here or therapists with MS experience? I've had a rough year after being with my fiance for 3 symptom free great years. The last year has been rough and I was wondering wh...

Get a copy of your MRI images, make a Neurologist appointment and have him go over the images with you. Most MRI facilities will give you a CD with a program that will load up the images. Radiologists can screw up reports. I had one completely miss 4 clearly lesions in my brain in 2007 and I was 27 ...

Lesions Disapeering
I have an MRI of my brain from 2007 and 2010. In those two MRI you can clearly see about 4 lesions. There was barely any change between 2007 and 2010. I got an MRI last week after 1 year of getting treatment. I did not start treatment in 2007 because I was misdiagnosed. I can spot just 1 lesions and...

I've been taking Lion's Mane which is known to increase levels of NGF. Might want to also give that a try. Thanks for this, I've picked some up and added it in. I did not know about it before your post, but like what I've read so far. --Tracy This is a good article about it http://www.longecity.org...
