Re: Approved under PBS in Australia!

Who is Novartis and how do you get the free samples? I live in NZ and it will likely be approved here within the next 6 months but whether or not it is funded will take another couple years to determine and I can't afford $1000 a week (which is what it will probably cost here) so I'd like to see abo...

I'm stopping these injections! I've been on them for 8 months and still get nasty side effects and for the last 5 months have still had paroxysmal symptoms. The way I see it, I've learnt over the last 6 years that anxiety is my trigger for relapses and these injections cause me so much anxiety that ...

grace422: how long did you take Avonex at a half dose for? Did you notice any difference in the amount of relapses or symptoms? I ask because I only weigh 53kg (116 pounds) and I agree with you that smaller people don't need as much but since they didn't take this into consideration during the stud...

The best treatment?

Hello :) I have not tried many treatments for MS and I'm getting so confused with all the information on here and mixed experiences so I thought maybe a poll that would show us all the most successful treatment on average would be helpful. I don't know how to change it so that you can vote more then...

What would you do?

Hi everyone, I hope you can give me some perspective on my situation :) I've had MS for 5 years & I'm 25. Most of my symptoms have been tingling & numbness. On average I have one relapse a year (right after new year) and they last approx 6 - 9 months. When I'm in remission the only symptoms ...
