Re: Have you switched to Tecfidera? Are you glad you did?
This is hopeful...sort of. My gut is one of the things I am so comfortable with ...compared to my neuropathic blue feet! Of course when I go to the neuro there is a big push for some DMD even though I am on LDN (prescribed by an alternative doc). After 2 yrs on a strict diet and LDN my February MRI ...

Re: Have you switched to Tecfidera? Are you glad you did?
Dorkkbrain All that sounds like good news. I am weighing Tecfidera. I am currently taking NrF2 which is an active ingredient of Tecfidera without any issues at all. I know "everyone is different" but curious about spine lesions which seem to now effect my mobility significantly. So therefo...

Are any on you here that take Tecfidera JC positive? Did you get your lymphocyte count before starting?
Thank you.
Thank you.

Thank you for letting us know how you are doing. By any chance were you ever tested for the JC virus? The ingredients are different than those that cause infection but just curious if it a norm for MSers to be tested for that virus.

Re: Side effects
Yikes..there was an equally disturbing story as Kim's on Wheelchair Kamikaze's Tecifidera blog. I don't know if it was the same person or another person with a hospital trip because of the drug's reaction. Thank you to all who have advise their experiences.

Re: Tecfidera - a mistake to make it oral?
I've been on BG12 for over 5 years and at the correct dosage. I still occassionally get a little flushing. I never vomited but did get lower digestive upset for about a month. It was quite bad but didn't last more than a couple of months. Hope this helps! MB If you have been on this for 5 years does...

Thanks everyone for posting your experience with Tecfidera. I am also most interested in how this drug will help with MS progression and symptoms.

Re: Stiff legs Minocycline?
1.More neuropathy pain in my feet now up to my knee.
2. Feel somewhat weaker in general.
Almost like there is a battle going on inside my body.
I'm supposed to take this for 6 weeks....I'll see what happens after 1 week if I still feel this way.
Thanks for your info.

I'm wondering if anyone can give me their review on their ice vest. There appears to be different kinds and not sure which way to go. Thank you for your help.
