Ihave been taking Gilenya for over a year. Is it any better than doing the shots? I don't think it's really any better, but a least you don't have to do the shots. I am in a study down here in Florida. I began taking Fingolimod last week. So far, so good. No side effects. I was on Rebif, and I was treated for CCSVI, which helped ease some of my symptoms. I was doing well with the Rebif, but personally, I'd rather not have to take a shot! :wink:

I recieved my date of Oct. 8th and myinsurance is covering it! Who would have thought? Maybe the insurance companies are getting hip to the possible benefits!

I have an appointment in Albany for Oct. 8th. It can't get here fast enough! I continue to pray for all of you, the doctors and staff, and for the medical community to turn the light on! I hope that all of us are in the 1/3 of success stories! :D
