Hi - I take it about every 3 months. I have it just like you (3 day course) with a taper of Predizone. It helps me regain my sense of balance, helps with my stiffness and I generally feel better. I hope it treats you well.

Hi - I have been on Novantrone since March this year. I have only exp. fatigue (it is hard to tell it is because of the chemo or just MS) and once in awhile after the treatment slight nausea. Generally, I am doing much better. I believe it is stabilizing my MS.

Combination of Rebif and Novantrone

Hello, I just started on Rebif yesterday. I am in my two years of getting Novantrone (IV) every three months. When I was dxed in 2/2002, I started on Betaseron. Did that for about year. It did not seem to have any effect. Then I started Copaxone last year. Had terrible site reactions and generally d...

That is interesting regarding the fatigue. I have always had fatigue, so I am not sure if any of the drugs I am on are contributing. I still have about 2 years left of my Novantrone treatment, but I figured it was the chemo that was contibuting to my fatigue level. I never gave Copaxone a thought ab...

Hi - I am not having a good reaction with Copxone either. My site injections are swollen and itch for days. I am in combo therapy (I am also on Novantrone) and I do pulse steriods (IV solumedrol 3 days and a taper of predizone) every 4 months or so. I still get the best results with the steriod. I w...

Well I just read that Cylert can cause liver malfunction, so that is out. I also read that mercury poisioning may be a factor. I am not sure about that, but here is another ms website that might be of use. It is: www.direct-ms.org/ there seems to be alot of diet information. Let me know your thought...

I wonder why we both slept so well after the infirst injection. My second injection was 6/3, but so far my fatigue seems to be OK. I am not exercising as much, so that could be a factor. Other than that, I feel fine and happy. I eat like a champ, so I am happy about that. I still wonder if Provigil ...

Hi, Fatique has always been a symptom. I took Provigil for a week. I liked it, but I read here (news on thisisms.com) that it really does not do anything for msers. I just took it in the am when I got up and it seem to wake me up. With Betaseron, I really did not have any flu-like symptoms or even s...

Novantrone/Copaxone Combo

I have been on a combo therapy of Navtrone since March of this year (2005). I am scheduled for a 2nd injection in June. I also have been on Copaxone since April. So far, I think it is working. I just had fatigue, but I am getting over it with exercise and rest. With the second infusion, I think I gr...

Zonulin, intestinal permeability and MS

If this proves out, then is MS an infectious disease vs. being an autoimmune disease?

Novantrone and Copaxone

I am going to a dual therapy approach to my PPMS starting in 2/05. It is going to be a combination of Novantrone and a daily injection of Copaxone for 6 months (until I get stabilized). Of course, I realize there is a lifetime limit I can have of Novantrone. Has anyone done a similiar combo therapy?

Well since I started taking it last week, I do feel a difference. It is suppose to reduce my Silent Inflammation. I was just wondering if it was a bunch of sales hype or if the rest of the world uses it.
