Re: Baclofen- friend or foe?
Hi David, I take magnesium bisglycinate...have for several years. Helps me with my bowels, relaxes me and helps me sleep at night. If I miss a day or 2, I might get a cramp in a lower leg from a spasm. Magnesium Chloride gel also helps if I have burning heels at night. I sometimes put it on my hands...

Yes, I know about Montel and Helius. He has tried manyyyy things for his MS. I'm not a fan of his. Who really knows which or if all has helped him in some way. Good on him tho for being a go-getter. He does have the money so why not. And maybe he has a milder case???

Re: Just approved for Ocrevus
Yes, I think alot of us are wondering why did "I" get MS when everyone you are related to drank lots, smoked and did drugs...and still do these things while you didn't and voila! They are still up and running and you aren't. Oh and you aren't related to anyone with MS or whatever. Lots of ...

Re: Medication
Hi Jerry, Dxed in 1996, took Baclofen for 2 yrs...did nothing but gave me extreme insomnia but otherwise no MS medications. Probably b/c they didn't know what type of MS I had. In a w/c part-time by 1999...full-time by 2003. Stress was my big factor. I was stable till 2018. I really question whether...

I use magnesium chloride gel on my feet before I go to bed at night to help with burning heels and so my feet stay relaxed all night...with a rolled hand towel between my feet. I also take 400mg of magnesium bis-glycinate a day.

Re: Swollen ankles and feet
Do you have closed toed or open toed stockings? I have open as they don't hurt me. To me they are easier to get on?? You can buy something called a Sleeve or special gloves to put the stockings on. My husband and the caregivers that I've had just struggled at first but it got easier. We never used a...

Re: Swollen ankles and feet
Hi Robbie,
Sorry, only saw this now. I have my husband or caregiver put them on me early in the morning and my hubby pulls them off at night. I can't use my hands that well anymore.

Re: Swollen ankles and feet
Hi Robbie,
Try wearing your stockings from before 11am till evening every day. Also put your feet up for a bit too during the day. I wear
a 20 - 30 compression. Wear what you can find until you can get assessed. Yes, I dream that I am walking alot.
Take care.........

Re: Swollen ankles and feet
Hi Robbie, Have you tried compression stockings? Maybe I've missed it. Not perfect but they help quite a bit! I also use the foot machine that you used too...on my second one...and a recumbent bike. I think you and I are pretty much similar. My day consists of a shower, getting dressed, breakfast an...

Re: Neck/Back Pain
Hi,
I used to have this neck pain and tried a Nucca chiropractor. Treatment is painless. Don't think it was MS related tho. I had fallen a few years before and my core and neck had started to twist slightly.
Take care!

Re: Not enough sunlight?
Hi elaine747, I had lots of sun when I was younger. I know someone in Texas that has MS too. Friends from The Philippines say there is lots of vitamin D deficiency there. An acquaintance from Africa says who really knows if there is no MS there as they don't have as much technology there as we do. S...

I have been using the desatascador since August 2. While I do not have big vision problems, I am feeling weaker and stiffer every day physically.
Any thoughts?
