Re: Summary of the pipeline

Thanks Cure. I had seen something about it last week, but could not find any confirmation. I just looked again and there was a press release on August 21: http://tinyurl.com/8gfzkee I am glad this Kv1.3 channel blocker has finally made it to the clinic after years of press releases and interesting a...

Re: How likely will there be a cure for MS within the next 1

If by "cure", you mean something available to people with MS and not just a lab discovery, I'd say it's highly unlikely that there will be a cure in the next 10 years. It often takes around 10 years for substances to go through the 3 phase clinical trial process and gain regulatory approva...

Re: Aubagio MS drug by Sanofi

Until recently, it was called teriflunomide. I guess as it got close to approval, the marketing folks got their hooks into it and came up with Aubagio.

This research is part of the Human Connectome project (http://www.thisisms.com/forum/post136622.html). It is nice to see that they are starting to make real progress.

More interesting stuff on twins and epigenetics: There is no such thing as identical where twins are concerned October 14, 2011 - Identical twins have identical genomes, but that is where it stops. Re: Could this be the beginning of the end to RRMS?

rssugg, I would love it if Revimmune was on the cusp of FDA approval, but unfortunately, Accentia hasn't even started the pivotal phase 3 trial(s) yet. It will probably take 1-2 years to recruit all the study participants, then another 2 years to run the trial(s), a few months for data compilation a...
