Re: The numbers do not lie. Congratulations Professor Sclafa

I know I used to post a lot. My daughter had just been diagnosed (Aug2010) and treated and there was lots to learn and share. She was treated 1 month after her MS diagnosis. A real early intervention which freed her of 12 symptoms and if it wasn't for her MRI's you would never know she has MS now 18...

Re: Has anyone been treated by Dr. Arslan?

I have not been treated by Dr Arslen but I have met him a few times. And I know a few patients of his. You would find them on CCSVI FLORIDA Facebbok. Go to youtube and put in "ccsvi Barbara" I think he is a very good choice with good experience. I am an RN and the mom of someone with MS (3...

Re: How are you doing since treatment??

I am going to post for my daughter Megan. She still has a tiny bit of denial, although since she is doing so well who could blame her? She was treated 1 month after her MS diagnosis Sept 21, 2010. Her symptoms were: Severe fatigue Headache, Blurry vision, L'hermittes sign Numb thighs Cog fog Insomni...

Re: CCSVI with a trach?

Although there are more things to consider besides a trach in someone paralyzed from the neck down for the physician to consider, I would think someone with a trach has less risk than a paralyzed person without a trach. A tracheostomy ensures a patent airway by removing the normal neck structures so...

Re: CCSVI, cause or symptom?

One must remember the routes of the blood emptying are varied depending on position of the body ( upright vs prone/supine) AND location and severity of the anomalies that partially block normal flow. (mal formed valves, webs, etc- each has a unique flow impeding %) these are quite variable. You are ...

Re: I really need help, am I having symptoms of MS?

I would find an Interventional Radiologist that treats CCSVI and get tested for that first. Go to www.ccsvi.org and read up on it.

Open letter: Dear Insurance Carriers,

Last year, in September 2010, my daughter was found to have CCSVI. In latter May 2010 she went on a cruise. She felt fine. She was for intents and purposes feeling great. Over June and July she was plagued with odd symptoms. In looking back her first symptom was a fall in the shower due to imbalance...

Re: Heavy legs

Just go to the YouTube videos and put in "CCSVI before and after" and watch many with "heavy legs". The angioplasty helps improve many. Not all, but many.

I emailed them and asked them to add the venous system in the next version. Hope they do it.

I like how you can easily review what function different areas perform and visualize the pathology. They did a great job.

The other resources below the brain atlas are also quite good and they are free.

If you think that this study is valid, you have not looked at the PPMS people on YouTube or on CCSVI tracker.

It's not a study but for these scientists to state as if their results are a fact is BS!

It was just a fact in this study.

It's not a fact it's a finding.

The perivenous areas are the ones that seem to have more iron deposits, much like the reflux causes turbulence in that area, but according to SWI MRIs the iron is also higher in the entire brain than normal controls. It's just concentrated at the verivascular areas. Also there are a few things going...

Understanding the BRAIN - resources & IPAD IPHONE APPs

This website http://www.finr.net/ has a few great resources for understanding the brain and brain injury. I love the iPad iphone app of 3d spinning brain model. I think it can help many people understand basics of anatomy and injury. The resources section is on the right margin and it's quite good. ...

This is even further interesting because the Hippocampus is extremely vulnerable to hypoxic injury.it's considered one of the most easily damaged Brain parts. And since "CCSVI caused hypo-perfusion/hypoxia " may be intermittent and chronic it's a definite fit of another piece of a very com...

My daughter is ex- military. She did 5 active duty years. One was spent in Korea, she also served time in Saudi Arabia besides her time states side. She had CCSVI ( left IJV and Azygos) via venography. I truly question these testers. Too many folks who were tested with MRV, or Doppler and deemed Not...
