Re: CCSVI and CCVBP

Hello Robert, The link below is to a paper on cervical spondylotic myelopathy. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3145857/ "In severe cases of CSM, changes in bowel or bladder dysfunction may be present." The upright MRI by Dr. Smith showed no obvious signs of significant misalign...

Re: CCSVI and CCVBP

Hello Robert,

How is George treating you neck? Does he still use flexion-distraction on the cervical spine or has he been focusing on the upper cervical spine?

Re: CCSVI and CCVBP

Thanks Nigel. I checked it out. It's a nice wood stove. Masonry heaters, such as the Finnish-type, are very different from wood stoves. Masonry heaters have gas chambers to burn the wood gases produced from burning wood. After leaving the gas chamber the smoke then passes through long heat exchanger...

Re: CCSVI and CCVBP

Nigel, I know about Finnish Heaters, Russian Bells, German grundofen and kakleofens and Swedish kakelugns but I have never heard of a Canadian Fire. Is it a wood stove? I disagree with you that rehab can't stop progression in neurodegenerative conditions. It depends on the condition, the extent of d...

Re: CCSVI and CCVBP

Nigel, Blair uses a very different approach in the analysis and the adjustment, which takes into consideration assymetry in the condyles of the skull. All of the upper cervical approaches make scientific sense and are equally valid and effective. They all need to be studied. There are no studies to ...

Re: CCSVI and CCVBP

... Dr F I have been in communication with Graham about the Rosa/Damadian results of AO and Upright MRI and it appears that 'time' has ticked around with I my procrastinating about travelling State side for treatments. My concerns have always been that one period of adjustments is not enough and re...

Re: CCSVI and CCVBP

Thanks Vesta.

Actually, all the others, are far behind and just scratching at the surface. Juurlink's paper only discusses MS. My next book will cover all conditions related to craniospinal hydrodynamics from childhood hydrocephalus to Tarlov cysts and everything in between.

Until next time, TTFN.

Good paper. Juurlink's hypothesis is similar to what I proposed thirty years ago.

Re: CCSVI and CCVBP

Hello Robert, It is your previous cervical MRI that shows the spondylosis and stenosis that may be causing "cervical spondylotic myelopathy." I don't see the spondylosis and stenosis on the upright MRI of the craniocervical junction probably because the region of interest and focus of the ...

Re: CCSVI and CCVBP

Hello Robert, The straight sinus drains the core of the brain and is very important. It is difficult to believe that you have no flow in the straight sinus. Although there are alternative drainage outlets for the core of the brain they lack the capacity of the straight sinus system and the brain wou...

Re: CCSVI and CCVBP

Hello Nigel,

No, I wasn't at the meeting.

What was pivotal is the recognition of the importance of upright MRI in diagnosis and the role of the spine in faulty craniospinal hydrodynamics.

Re: CCSVI and CCVBP

Thanks for refreshing my memory. I recalled most of your history but wanted to make sure. You have a mixed bag of findings. The lesions in the brain and cord are most likely from Rugby trauma. Robert has many lesions in the brain and they are most likely the result of repeated head trauma and trauma...
