Question about ms progression...
Can multiple sclerosis have progressive dibilitating effects even after a lesion isn't deemed active via MRI? ie. My first profound attack went after my legs, confirmed by a contrasted MRI... a repeat MRI now shows the same lesions, no change, but without inflammation? Yet, my mobility continues to ...

Thank you for sharing your opinion regarding your Tilite and also for your encouraging kind words. Its weird, I too find some people go out of their way to be kind and helpful, while others stare at me like I have 2 heads. The oddest reaction I get seems to be from well to do men in their early fort...

not sure...
Not sure exactly what it is but was told it is a high-dose cyclophosphamide (a la John Hopkins influence) and the monthly boosters are something they recently added to the protocol? Oh well, just starting to get anxious I guess.

Hi there
New around here, but not to MS. My dad was first dx in 1973 while walking the beat in Toronto. I was dx in April of this year with aggressive RRMS which squashed my work as a forensic physicians' assistant and long distance running with my GSD.

Wheelchair question
Wasn't sure the best forum to post this in, but I was wondering if any members here use a Tilite chair? Since my MS has really only taken its toll on my legs I am opting for and exploring the world of light weight manual chairs. I am definitely not ready for a motorized device, but accept that there...

Thanks Cript, best of luck to you too! My protocol will be 5-6 days of infusions in hospital and then monthly boosters as an outpatient, which brings up a new question from me...

thanks Axiom!
I'm actually having the treatment in Toronto by a neurologist who had training at JH. It's a last ditch effort to halt my progression. Thanks for the info... I think my infusions are stretched over 6 days but I am an inpatient for 8 days (lab work etc?). I have read surprisingly good things about th...

starting this week, few questions...
Hi everyone, I am starting therapy in the coming weeks and had a few simple questions about the therapy. I understand that my 'infusions' will take place over a 7-8 day period during which I will be an inpatient at the hospital... how is the drug administered? Obviously intervenously, but central li...
