Are you joking or a troll? Obviously the doctors provide the codes not the patient, we are not physicians and it sounds like you are not a patient, perhaps you work for a physician or an insurance company. No physician would ask for procedure codes before seeing a patient.

Medicare has never covered anything related to ccsvi as hello it is experimental. It has always been about how the claim was filed. A covered claim might have looked like it was covering ccsvi but no Medicare simply cover what is covered. I should think a clinic that does mostly ccsvi or a lot of it...

People clot with or without using blood thinners and anticoagulants. Doctors are all over the place with them for the simple reason there is no science to back up their use unless a patient has a history of clotting problems. Of course, one can try blaming the lack of thinners and anticoagulants if ...

I have had pain in both jugulars on and off for the first two months, more in the 90% stenosed one (bigger balloon more tearing I would expect), not unbearable though but quite obviously coming from the jugulars in the neck area. I had angioplasty almost 3 months ago for me and now it is perhaps onc...

I noticed that patientx' post was deleted from the "The First Fatality of the Liberation War" which I find very peculiar as it was to the point..it was a fact and not an attadk that Embry used the sad story to further his point whether you like him and his ideas or not is besides the point...

If you have the procedure in a hospital as opposed to most clinics they have IVUS available, they used it on me and I could follow along on the screen, but I doubt the clinics will go to the expense unless they know CCSVI treatment is here to stay.

Wow so MS patients used to be told not to exercise, well that must be an old researcher as I have had MS for 25 years and exercise without overdoing it has been promoted as a good thing all those 25 years. I have noticed that the MS society keeps funding these silly lille projects. Amazing that ccsv...

Dania, that is terrible if they don't want to do it, but they are no stranger to clots, just take one well known ein problem DVT and may-thurners syndrome they treat those clots and they stent the iliac vein so yes they do know how to deal with clots in veins and clots around stents, but getting the...

Dania a clot is not specific to ccsvi. Any vascular surgeon would probably be able to deal with that as well as a IR or surgeon who has treated some ccsvi patients except of course as with everything there are good surgeons and bad surgeons, but a clot be it in a vein or an artery they can deal with...

Arizona doppler

They charge a whopping $500 and don't bother with insurance which I guess they can get away with until more places get trained. Insurance companies would probably only pay $100 for it. The problem I have found is lack of interest, I have contacted a number of facilities. http://www.azdoppler.com/For...

No you are one among many since we are many treated and only have a handful of doppler places in the country that do the Zamboni protocol. I also saw no improvements making it hard to know if one restenoses. I just plan on getting a regular doppler just to make sure there are no clots and ask if the...

worth being the operative word here for me. Very useful as without the MRV my insurance would not have paid for the procedure, but from a diagnostic point of view not that useful according to my doctor.

I don't understand why people cannot take questions that question ccsvi. Yes we are all adults but we all should be able to discuss ccsvi and bringing up ideas that might question treatment, doctors, facilities, trials, aftercare etc is part of that. Why does it always get interpreted as negative. I...
