I have/had a pretty sever needle phobia and I have been able to manage with keeping up w/ and taking the copaxone. There is a bit of a sting after you inject but I find that for me I can minimize this by warming the area. I also get redness and some hardness. But it's well worth it if this shit keep...

Disability certification?
So... how do I go about getting this. I had a trouble with a bus driver not wanting me to sit in the HC seat because apparently Greyhound wants 48 hours notice and you need some sort of ID? Can someone clue me in, I feel silly as I am totally mobile (other than the falling occasionally, but hey, dow...

Oh wait, I already posted in here? You know, weed (I'm on marinol instead currently which does help some but not as much) helps with my spacticity, but I'm finding that as I'm stepping up my neurontin dose, a lot of what I thought was stiffness was just pain, and my legs actually tend to work pretty...

It is a really hard balance to find. I am pretty overweight so I'm trying to deal with that, but I find I have trouble doing cardio for extended periods of time. So I do as much as I can and when I start to hurt I go chill out. My old MS care place never sent my prescription for my cooling vest, but...

Just a small note if you happen to know people showing symptoms who have clear brain MRIs, make sure the spine gets checked too, my neurologist was on the fence for awhile about whether or not to diagnose me with MS (which now I'm kind of pissed he waited, but that's another issue entirely) and the ...

I for one am very heat sensitive, and often feel ill for a few hours after spending any significant length of time in the heat. You guys seem to be having our heatwave from last summer, which sucks. I would strongly recommend an investment in a good air conditioner. I dropped a few hundred bucks on ...

Seriously though, I've smoked weed my entire adult life, and I want to quit for health reasons rather badly. Now I could move 20 miles and me in a state that (theoretically) would make my medical marijuana legal, but I can't move inside the US to a place that will let me use the much less harmful in...

Any place they do the scans is going to be equipped to handle the chance of allergic reaction which means that even if you are one of the luck (you estimated 1/2k) to have an allergic reaction they are almost certainly going to be able to treat the reaction then and there making it much less likely ...

I had always read that Copaxone's efficiency at relapse reduction and severity of relapse reduction actually improved over time. That has been my experience. I have less invasive relapses even if I still relapse. Also, it takes up to 6 months to start working. Would still be interested in seeing th...

Re: Dork vs Nerd
Maybe if I knew what is a dork (beside the street's definition  ) The word nerd would probably be more appropriate. Dork has some negative connotations. NHE See, I've always seem it the other way around. I think it's very regional (high schoolers seem to have a range of about 5-15 miles which ...

I don't know how long ago you were diagnosed, but talk to your doctor about this and keep talking to them about it till you find something that works. My doctor and I went through 3-4 things before we found something that worked for me (other than teh herb) But when we did (in my case neurontin) it ...
