I'm the only one in my family with MS (no thyroid probs for me), but my whole mother's side is absolutely riddled with thyroid problems. Coincidence? I suspect that my mother (low thyroid, no MS) does actually have CCSVI because of her very cold feet....

It felt like someone was pouring warm water down my legs while I was on the table. Oddest sensation ever. The color in my feet, hands and face also improved immediately. For the first few months after the procedure my feet would go cold in patches or alternate between hot and cold. They were warm mo...

I asked Dr Petrov in Bulgaria if I could have red wine (this was three days post op). He looked at me like I was nuts for even asking, and said that I could.

My advice would be different if you were MUCH older or much more progressive. But for now, I'd concentrate on trying to manage the symptoms and ...

I was happy with my treatment in Bulgaria. Tokuda Hospital in Sofia (capital city) has a website with information. I know personally three other people who were very happy with their treatment there. The center in Varna (seaside) was opened more recently. Have not heard any reports on the Varna loca...

The medical benefits through most employers include short term travel insurance. There is no coverage for complications from elective treatments though. Most people are purchasing additional travel insurance unnecessarily.

Post Treament People w/ Good Results-Banding in Spinal Tap?

Just wondering about something. I had great CCSVI treament results. I had clinically definite RRMS, but my spinal tap did not show the bands. For others who have had successful CCSVI treatment (ie. feeling better), did you have the bands in your spinal fluid? I realize that many people who have been...
