Re: Recent Diagnosis of CIS - going down hookworm route with
Thought I'd do an update as its almost 3 years since my attack of acute optic neuritis and 21 months since I started Hookworm Therapy. Its almost 4 years since I started getting 'MS' symptoms. To summarise - I was on Rebif (3x44mcg) from Nov 2010 to Feb 2012. I was then on a reduced dosage of 1x 44m...

Re: Neurologist said I may have MS or Lyme
Make sure they get diagnosis right. If you have Lymes the last thing you want is to be put on immunosuppressants.
I tested negative for lYmes but curiously when I came off Rebarf I recovered a lot

Thanks PN - irrespective of the result I know I react to glutens / cereals so I have cleared everything with wheat in it.

Re: Insulin Resistance - Calling Lindacarol
Went to GP who has decided I should have a test for Ceoliacs disease. My symptoms match gluten ataxia very closely and when ever I eat wheat (seldom) I get some gastric discomfort.
Eating copious slices of toast in prep for tomorrow's test!

Re: Resveratrol combats ebv (study)...rituximab alternative?
LR, Good luck with it. Have you noticed any effects from it, bad or good? This new study frustrates me to no end ! There are studies out there that claim the opposite. Maybe it has to do with the use of resveratrol vs resveratrol derivative or maybe it's the type of ms imposter they are studying. I...

RE: the fatigue, try cutting out all cereals / sugars for a month. I have CIS and am only affected lightly by residual sysmptoms (buzzing in limbs and occasional blurring in left eye) however I was suffering from terrible fatigue and brain fog in the day time. I cut out all cereals and sugar and ban...

Re: Resveratrol worsens multiple sclerosis symptoms and dura
I was worried there given that I have been taking resveratrol on and off for 3 years. I then read this research is based on the MS Mouse modelso we can safely assume it has no relevence to human MS

Re: A paper by David Perlmutter, M.D.
The arrival of British troops also brought other vices - tobacco, tinned foods (especially fruits with a high methanol content). My view for what its worth is that MS is a cumulative effect of different factors - dietary, metabolic, infection trigger, genetics all contributing towards an expression ...

Re: Clean MRI. Help?
Try eliminating food groups at a month at a time and see what effect it has. Personally I have had a profound reduction in symptoms by eliminating all cereals except a little rice now and again.

Re: Insulin Resistance - Calling Lindacarol
Thanks Lynda
Kept of the cereals all week and have felt great with virtually no 'MS' symptoms. One day had a subway roll for lunch as away on business and hey presto felt like $hit for the next 5-6 hours.

Insulin Resistance - Calling Lindacarol
This post is following a general observation but I think Linda is our chief expert on such matters. For several weeks my symptoms have been getting worse - predominantly daytime fatigue and brain fog to the point its affecting my work. Terribly itchy skin, parathesia in my feet and hands, and electr...

This is my only remaining symptom. I find lack of sleep an aggrievating factor. Also sitting still for long periods.
