The efficacy of AIMSPRO was actually broadcast for all live on national TV. Last month, ITV News in the UK broadcast an item where a Vicar with MS could not lift his right arm at all. 12 minutes after an injection with AIMSPRO, the Vicar had a 12 stone guy hanging off his right arm. Convincing Finn,...

He came after me off the bus and threatened to kick my ass in front of everyone.
That's threatening and abusive behaviour - I'd report it to the police.

A close relative of mine actually works for Novartis. At an internal conference in Rhodes last month, they talked about the trial results. Apparently, it has performed really well in phase II for MS.

Lets hope they can get this to market sooner rather than later.

Daunted - excellent post. By coincidence, I am also 4 days in to my second pulse of metronidazole. The first pulse was ok apart from a bit of nausea, but the second pulse has been somewhat more noteworthy. Since starting Metronidazole my symptoms include the following:- Muscle twitches all over body...

Antipsychotics treat brain virus

Here's an interesting BBC article about a drug that protects glial cells - the fatty sheath that covers nerve cells. Has anybody tried or thinking of trying it for MS?

Hi Debbie I met up with Dr David Wheldon a few weeks ago for a consultation, and I can honestly say you have absolutely nothing to be nervous about. He is an extremely nice gentleman, very helpful, and is only concerned about getting people better. Please keep us all posted on how you get on with th...

Daunted, I have exactly the same symptoms as you, and my recent MS tests are all negative as well. So, airing on the side of caution, that I may possibly have early MS, I decided to try the antibiotic regimen. I have been on it now for three weeks, and I actually feel a lot better. So much so, I eve...

YES

Idea #1
Let's start by arranging a meeting between Dr David Wheldon and J K Rowling. Apparently she's a member of the UK MS Society, has plenty of Press coverage, and could probably persuade the UK Government to fund a trial.

I too am trying doxycycline 200mg per day, after reading David Wheldon's compelling arguments about C-Pn and MS. Whilst my Neurologist and GP have not (yet) given me a positive dx for MS, I wouldn't want to post any adverse comments against using antibiotics in case my condition turns out to be anot...

Alpha Lipoic Acid, a common food supplement, also has the same effect on MMP-9. It is available in most health food shops (Holland and Barrett in the UK) - about 600 - 1200mg per day has been mooted in neuro-research papers. Personally, I'd go down the route of Doxycycline with a combination of vita...
