Majority of my friends know. Also my family including 5th cousins twice removed, thanks to my mother. Once my mother found out she used it for her own sympathy ( I had to ask her to stop telling everyone), probably her way of coping. Anyway my mother's big mouth helped it spread and I still g...

they are anti inflammatory and assist with swelling.. It is also a polyunstaurated oil (?) and therefore not hard at room temperature like saturated fats such as butter. It was once exlained to me that because it isn't hard at room temerature it is very flexble (myelin is made up of fats). I really wish I had the energy to exercise more effectively  I was very keen on Yoga, but my balance isn't much and I find it more frustrating than relaxing and useful. Swimming is about the only exercise I get any use out of. The pool is 30 minute drive away and by the time I get home from wo...

It took about 2 months for me to notice an improvement; that was abpout 18 months ago and all had been good up to about 3 weeks ago. Feeling like a great big sloth - very fatigued ! Hopefully it will pass quickly !
Good Luck

Hi DaisyH

I've been on copaxone for 2 years. Tolerate it OK. Some side effects, such as lipoatrophy, injection site hardness, but nothing too drastic.
I also try and follow the Swank diet, which really seems to help...when I am good at following it !

Cost of Copaxone

A friend of mine in the USA told me she pays about $100 for her copaxone, is this per week or month ? Either way OUCH ! 8O
In Australia we a fortunate for it to be government subsidised and it costs about $17US a month. :D
I was curious to know what we are all paying for this med ? :?:

I also suffer from this problem and I am relieved and disturbed to know that I am not alone. :?: I only have it on my right leg in an area where I haven't injected too often; so I don't think it is from injecting in the same area a lot. I now also get hives, but not in injection areas, generally nea...
