How did you deal with the anterior hip rotation? This is the one structural issue I can't seem to resolve.

Thank you HarryZ for staying involved. We need third party opinions from those that are familiar with the propoganda.
Thank you again, I appreciate your thoughts and inputs.

Re: CCSVI 101--a new video by Dr. Siskin from CCSVI Alliance

Hi Ann I had this done and the bypass/graft failed as soon as I stopped the blood thinners. The vascular surgeon at home said that these grafted veins won't stay open. My recommendation would be to not get this done, you can end up having more problems. Give this long thought, and if you can consult...

Re: Sun exposure promotes nitric oxide release

Thanks Cheer, that's kind of what I had hoped. Manitoba is full of sun right now so I'm trying to get as much exposure as I can without getting a burn. That might explain why I always noticed deterioration in spring.

Would a tanning bed have the same impact on the veins?

Re: DrSclafani answers some questions

Hi Dr. S

Is it possible for veins to diminish in size due to low/slow flow? If this does happen will altering the flow result in a return to the normal size?

Thanks for your help.

My hope for her is to dance in those heels.
Trying to find a nucca in winnipeg and not having much luck. Don't know how much it will help once the veins have been damaged.

I am so glad to hear such wondeful news for your wife and you.

Re: Looking for advice from Canadians

Hi Glenn I'm from Manitoba and I didn't get any help from the government (except a tax refund of approx 3% of the cost of trip and treatment) or from insurance. Really clarify with your Doctor at home about the type of follow-up they will provide. In Manitoba the follow-up is only if your GP thinks ...

This is very interesting, thank you for finding and posting this. This information, the csf imaging from BNAC, and the symptoms for nph seem to fit together pretty well.

Re: ballooning of nonobstructed jugulars

Mrsuccess, I do think there is something to what you say. I have some major issues with my blood pressure, heart rate and rhythm, and circulation since my veins were severly damaged by the ccsvi procedure. This is not lesions as the first symtom was within one month of the damage occuring and I was ...

Re: objective measurement of fatigue

It can continuously measure electrocardiogram, body-skin temperature, electromyogram and motions of feet.
This information will be very interesting to see as well and to see how they utilize the data beyond fatigue.

Re: Dr. Scalise's IVUS research

speaking from experience. It's much better to have accurate measurements to size the balloon. Damage to the healthy vein is a serious issue and it is nice to see something that is comparing the different types of measuring. IVUS in a trained hand should be one of a patients first requirements from t...
