Re: You don't need to look anymore

Hello Everyone, I hope you are all feeling bad. Did I actually say that? Yes, I did. The reason I want you to feel bad today is because I can help you feel better!!! Let’s start from the beginning. Do you know what causes multiple sclerosis? Me neither. Well, that’s not entirely true. I had this rec...

Re: Optic Neuritis and possible cause for MS

Vivianne, you know a lot about vitamin c and calcium, there is not much I can give you. Apply all your knowledge to your low iron issue that iron is your friend and enemy at the same time and good luck!. I don't believe the problem is with iron from meat or plants. I believe the problem is with the ...

Re: Optic Neuritis and possible cause for MS

I agree, the research is one sided and limited. For example they added vitamin C to a chelator, there was no research on vitamin c alone so we can't really say if the vitamin c alone is effective enough on it's own and that's why an individual will have to build up the case using just common sense. ...

Re: Optic Neuritis and possible cause for MS

I go through many websites, I put everything together based on what I’ve read, I cannot put all the links here. It would be too much. Besides if someone wants to find the information, it’s all on the internet. Here are some: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/22713799 http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pub...

Re: Optic Neuritis and possible cause for MS

I am going to wait with the high dose of vitamin C until little later just in case. We just started the blocking of unwanted iron and I don’t want to screw it up. But I believe there is a lot of truth in this. Vitamin C plays important role in lowering and absorption of iron. When we eat meat (heme ...

Re: Optic Neuritis and possible cause for MS

Well, I am alive. I took 1000 mg of vit. C this morning and nothing happened. I think my body sucked it all up because I was deficient but I will not be increasing it. I am going to continue with this program until the end of the next week and see how am I doing. I really feel great, in the morning ...

Re: Optic Neuritis and possible cause for MS

Vitamin C is a water-soluble vitamin, meaning your system only soaks up what it needs and then flushes out any extra. Vitamin C reaches its peak concentration in the blood within about 2 hours and passes from the body within three to four hours. Even though vitamin C increases the bioavailability of...

Re: Optic Neuritis and possible cause for MS

The health group approved visit to the podiatrist for my daughter but he is very busy and the first available appointment is next week but they put us on waiting list if anyone cancels, we get in. And I didn’t have to get involved to get it done. Which is good because me and my family should be trea...

Re: Optic Neuritis and possible cause for MS

The MRI is only to assess the damage and see how much of that iron is in the body. Biopsy would probably be also good but MRI is less dangerous. I got a call from the hospital saying that my daughter has bladder infection. So I called my medical group because they still haven't approved the request ...

Re: Optic Neuritis and possible cause for MS

I took some zinc today after lunch and I've been peeing a lot. Maybe it's working already. I would like to take Milk Thistle it is very good for liver and helps prevent cirrhosis so I can't wait to try it but I am dying to know what the tests will show. My doctor didn't say what tests she ordered, I...

Re: Optic Neuritis and possible cause for MS

But how zinc is removed from body? Even if it chelates all the iron it has to come out somehow. How the body is going to remove the excess zinc? Basically, I want to know that the zinc after trapping all the iron is not going to lodge itself onto the liver because there is too much of it and it cann...

Re: Optic Neuritis and possible cause for MS

Jimmy I am not saying that low zinc is good or that zinc is not important in our metabolic process. The problem is that when you have iron overload and you are a man, by supplementing with zinc you are mitigating your current situation but you are not correcting the past accumulations. Why do you th...

Re: Optic Neuritis and possible cause for MS

So, you haven’t figured it out yet why high amounts of zinc are in your liver? Let me tell you then. Zinc is antioxidant and since iron in our bodies is creating oxidative stress, zinc is basically trying to control the damage done by iron. Since the biggest deposits of iron are in your liver, zinc ...

Re: Optic Neuritis and possible cause for MS

And this brings us to another possible problem: From Pubmed: "Although hemochromatosis and pathological situations due to chronic iron overload have been extensively described, there is little information about the influence of iron on other trace elements in the cell. The aim of this study was to i...

Re: Optic Neuritis and possible cause for MS

“Celiac disease is linked to a very rare genetic disease of iron overload, called hemochromatosis. (Symptoms include chronic fatigue and abdominal pain, among others.) People with celiac disease who also have hemochromatosis may not know it because the malabsorption of celiac protects them from accu...
