List of all CCSVI groups, communities, organizations

I tried to find good links about CCSVI patient-groups, and communities. Reason for this is my science background in sosiology, and perhaps I will start my own research about CCSVI as a phenomena in society. One day I was thinking that how big phenomena this is? How many internet groups? In which cou...

Re: PREMiSe study results

One thing came to my mind with PREMISE study; plasebo effect. If I understood correctly, researchers didn't notice changes in baseline and after PTA.. So, did they show that plasebo has very little to do with PTA ? "Besides relapses, Siddiqui and colleagues examined other clinical outcomes including...

Re: PREMiSe study results

This Buffalo's video about premise study.. it seems that their conclusion is clear, check the first text in video, message is clear. I find this conclusion quite disturbing, based on very, very little study. Just like their conclusion in 2011, that CCSVI is concequence of MS, based on their doppler ...

Re: Even Mild Hits to Head Disrupt Blood-Brain Barrier

Ooops.. my blood-brain-barrier has been lots of disrupted, I suppose. Use to train muay-thai about 15 yrs and lots of sparring with younger guys, who fight in tournaments. I quit training after my wife's dx, cause I got more knowledge about brain and it's vulnerability, especially when you get older.

Lesions extend counter-current to normal venous flow..

Hello, I have seen this sentence quite many times.. and wondered that what does it exactly mean. I have an idea/though about it (like Dawson's fingers?), but want to understand it correctly. Can someone define it precisely, like telling it to 6 yr old :) Or can I read more about this somewhere in th...

Re: My wife's turn next week in Poland - am I dreaming or no

Thank you Cheer! That paper about effects of exericse to endothelial is priceless. It explains wonderfully what is the relationship between these factors, and gives answers why humans are "made" to move. It really is one of best medicines and still not so often used as treatment - too bad.

Re: My wife's turn next week in Poland - am I dreaming or no

Im very, very big believer in exercise - not just MS patients, but generally for everyone. I found very interesting articles and studies about resistance training with MS patients and results were promising. Training improves many things, not just your muscles but also to your brain. There are studi...

Re: My wife's turn next week in Poland - am I dreaming or no

It's been long time, since last updated this thread. Im still very very active about CCSVI and reason for my enthusiasm still.. is that wife's condition has been optimal. Today is about 2 yrs and 8 months since angioplasty, which changed her situation wonderfully. Is she cured from MS? No, I don't t...

Re: Stem Cell Breakthrough including better CCSVI results

Does venoplasty work by it self? There are many different stories about treatment results. Its now 2 yrs and 3 months since my wife had her venoplasty and it changed her situation totally to better. Nowadays she doesn't have symptoms anymore and she can exercise hard. Does it last? Who knows, time w...

Re: Conciliatory proposal for neurologists

Hi Rici,

Is that stent-bad flow-photo your jugular? Doesnt flow through stent, not good. But like neurologists have said "there are other routes for blood to flow" :) :) Well, lets wait if somebody is brave enough to prove it.. I quess you cant find so crazy human to test the hypothesis :)

Re: Iron accumulation in MS-brain

It seems that this Iron accumulation thing is also controversial. Haacke says many things about iron in MS- brain and he is quite confident that CCSVI explains this accumulation. One interesting thing is the location of iron; "around the veins" or "near the veins" or "in veins" and in thalamus, puta...
