Re: Idea ... lets ignore MS and focus on circulation

It has always seemed to me that inadequate drainage of my brain was worth fixing, whether or not it cured my MS. May helped things I was suffering that have always been blamed on MS but could as easily be blamed on inadequate vascularization. If we focus on improving circulation, we can get a good ...

thanks!

In Italy there are two ongoing trials. The first is sponsored by AISM (Italian Association MS), and has as objective to verify the correspondence CCSVI / MS. Prof. Zamboni disassociated itself from this trial. The second (BRAVE DREAMS) but should start in late summer, and also will be a trial of PT...

Brave Dreams?

What is the current status of this study in Italy? From various posts, I understand it is finally a large enough study from which to draw valid conclusions, but I also thought I read that Zamboni withdrew from it because yet again his protocols were not being followed.

Is that correct?

We (that is all the patients united on this forum) make a fatal mistake by consistently pushing forward this idea that the cause is vascular; and by continuing to fuel the debate of vascular vs auto-immunity. In fact, it is neither of the two. It is the metabolism or better the unbalances in the me...

Who is the doctor at VAC in Louisiana? I'm not familiar with that one at all. I do not know. It is a recent addition to the Hubbard registry. (I suspect Dr. McGuckin travels to all the centers, but I am looking into this) I sent them an email a few days ago but they have not responded. Tomorrow mor...

Yes, I had found that video on YouTube while researching independently and you are right, he comes across very likable. I am sure that my wife will like him and that is important, since as a general rule, she pretty much hates doctors in general (based on several bad experiences). (I told her the VA...

Dr. Sisken (sp?)

I think this doctor was one of the first to try the procedure on some severely affected pwMS, with some good results, so this is the one I may wish to take my wife to. (There is a CCSVI clinic near me now, so I may use that for any follow-up.) Where does Dr. Sisken practice? Or does he any more, out...

Have you looked into IBT (inclined bed therapy)? This is another idea that was ridiculed when first proposed, but now has a fair share of proponents.

zapped!

I suppose I am naive. I want to believe that a doctor who takes the Hippocratic oath will not be unduly influenced by his/her ties to pharmaceutical companies. I suppose that is like believing senators and congressmen aren't influenced by lobbyists. Thanks, zap, for waking me up to the real world. :...
